They blue skies above were clouded occasionally with the shadow of a passing bee or a bird flying above or sometimes some other....thing? Occasionally a large shadow would pass over all of us and cover the sun but when we looked up to see what was there....nothing was. I knelt down next to a flower, gently lifting its peddles up a little.

"hm..." I sighed contently with the bright colors and smells all around us.

"It's beautiful here but a little warm for my taste" Blizzard knelt next to me, smiling a little.

"...well it's not for everyone" I smiled, watching the flower still.

"Certainly not." he nodded and patted my back as he got up.

I got up and followed after the rest of the group, Blizzard and I having both fallen behind. Sky stopped, looking back, waiting for us to catch up. Blizzard walked up to her and offered his hand, causing a soft blush to spread across her face and a bright smile as she took his hand and walked with him.

"....are they married? do you know?" Lialah asked from next to me.

"Not that I know of, I kind of assumed they might be though.." I smiled.

"They seem to fit so well together" she smiled at me.

I smiled back and walked closer to her, feeling her gently take my arm and lean against my shoulder.

"You're...so warm" she mumbled softly, snuggling my shoulder.

I blushed softly and nodded.

We were getting closer to the castle The King has mentioned we could take shelter in. I hadn't heard about The Coneheads except for the fact that they've been known to step over some boundaries. They had a habit of not really listening to the other kingdoms when they did something stupid. The King wasn't the fondest of them but they were still considered an ally. We walked up to the front gates and two large Conehead guards stood in the way, large shields held ready and very large maces in their other hands.

"Good day gentlemen, did you get my messenger?" The King asked, smiling his normal kingly smile.

The left one cleared his throat and spoke in a deep, intimidating voice.

"Yes we did 'your highness'" he said, reaching around his back and dropping a helm to the ground of a white knight.

Sky and Blizzard both gasped, Xavier's eyes narrowed and Zackery's jaw dropped.

"I see...." The King replied, picking up the helm.

The other knight hefted his mace onto his shoulder.

"Leave. before we make you." The second one growled.

"....now before speaking to your king." The King locked eyes with the second one, resting his hand on his sword's hilt.

"The hard way it is then." the first knight laughed deeply, lifting his shield.

"Indeed. Blizzard?" The King looked over his shoulder.

"As you wish your Highness." Blizzard shifted and the two knights were frozen solid in seconds, ice having spread from the ground through their armor and encasing them in ice.

"Zackery. let us make an entrance my friend." The King smiled.

"FINALLY!" Zackery jumped, holding out hand to Xavier, who rolled his eyes and handed over a bottle of dark red liquid resembling blood.

"Wait what do they mean...?" Lialah asked, looking up at me.

"I have no clu-" I was cut off by the sound of an explosion.

Zackery stood where there used to be a large castle door blocking the entrance, proud and the area around him in flames. Xavier rolled his eyes and unsheathed his steel blade, a cloud of green foaming off it.

"Wait what-" Lialah asked.

"Caste Crashers. stay close, alright? Make a tight formation and don't let anything break it." Blizzard commanded, stepping ahead of The King.

The Four made a tight barrier in front of The King and walked into the castle. I looked at The King for a command.

"Blizzard! Don't forget your new recruit!" The King laughed.

"Wait what?- he's coming with us????" Zackery asked, sounding nervous.

"I am????" I asked, very confused.

"Well you wanted to be part of The Four didn't you? come on!" Sky gestured for me to follow.

I looked at Lialah and went with them, taking out my sword, ready for a fight.

"If we need to protect you we will. That doesn't make you any less one of us. alright?" Xavier nodded sternly to me.

"a-alright.." I tried to manage a smile but failed miserably, I couldn't help but feel nervous.

"Let's go." Blizzard said lowly, leading our way into the castle.
