We walked through the squishy uneven ground of the marsh nearby Medusa's lair. The stone door refused to budge so we had to find something to open it or some way around.

"Eyes up Guardians." Blizz commanded.

"Yes sir." I obeyed, pulling out my sword.

Up ahead there was some skeletons fighting with some peasants, one of them repeatedly plunging his sword into the chest of one of the peasants. Sky ran ahead and the sky crackled from above as lightning struck two of the skeletons, blasting them to pieces. Zackery laughed and turned into an inferno. Xavier stood back and watched with Blizzard. Lialah and I fought off some skeletons emerging from the bushes and rising out of the ground.

"These guys are kind of tough-" Lialah sighed.

"Weird considering they don't have any muscles or joints-" I responded, cutting through another one's rib cage, the light in it's eyes flickering out.

"Let's move." Blizz said once they were all dead, we all followed him deeper into the marsh.

As we walked deeper into the marsh more skeletons kept popping up, there were four large ones that emerged from the forest and started attacking us, roaring and slamming hulking fists into us.

"Sky watch out!" I jumped in the way as one of the brutes swung it's arm towards her.

It slammed into me, through me against a tree, I heard the tree and my armor crunch as I fell over in pain.

"GREY!" Sky burst with electricity, the skeleton's bones getting stained black as it fell to pieces.

She ran over and kneeled down, looking me over.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worried.

"Y-yeah..I-I'm..okay-" I mumbled, glancing over, seeing a cloaked figure walk up behind Lialah.

I gasped and tried to scream, my ribs hurt and it just came out as a harsh coughing as the figure in robes plunged it's sword through her chest. Sky whipped her head around and her body tensed as electricity crackled along her armor.

"LIALAH!" She yelled.

The world broke, everything was a blur as my body decided unconsciousness was the best way to survive. I passed out, letting darkness overtake me. Praying that all of this was just a dream.
