But FireStar wants to see if your gift is real, so your on a few more patrols, now come on! " BrackenFur chuckled, leading her out. The Sun had hardly come out, But PoppyFrost, BerryNose, And SpiderLeg where there waiting. " Let's go Sleepy head, you have a special job " SpiderLeg grumbled. BrackenFur lead the patrol out, and the five wandered through the woods for a bit. " Now. WallabyPetal, you sit here, and listen for prey, and one of us will try and find it " SpiderLeg told her. " Oh, ok.. " WallabyPetal sat in front of a tree, and listened for anything. " There's some mice waking over by the Mossy Hollow " WallabyPetal mumbled. BrackenFur nodded to PoppyFrost, who ran to find it. " There's a StarLing nest a few trees away from here... " WallabyPetal mewed, looking at SpiderLeg. " And....A shrew, no, Vole eating some seeds, near the lake side, I hear the water " She mumbled. " Ok, I'll go see, You stay here " BrackenFur responded, and ran off. SpiderLeg was First back, carrying a Starling nest, with a large StarLing, and three babies in it. WallabyPetal flinched as he dropped it, the Birds limp. " I suppose she was true, but we will wait " SpiderLeg grumbled. PoppyFrost returned next, two plump mice in her jaw. " You really do have a great gift! " PoppyFrost chuckled. BrackenFur returned last, Vole in his maw. " Well, I guess it's true, we all got the prey WallabyPetal heard, let's go back and tell FireStar and BrambleClaw " BrackenFur said, leading everyone back. Most of the Clan was awake when they returned, including HollyStalk. " BrambleClaw! It's true! WallabyPetal can hear super far away! " PoppyFrost smiled, trotting in. " We will test from farther away next patrol, go relax, WallabyPetal, Join SandStorms Patrol " BrambleClaw spoke. WallabyPetal opened her mouth to respond, but sighed, walking over to the group. " Ok, let's go " SandStorm nodded to them. SandStorm lead them out. " Ok, WallabyPetal, you stay here, what do ya Hear " SandStorm asked her. WallabyPetal closed her eyes, and blinked them open. " There's a Hare at WindClan border, and Squirrels over by ShadowClan, but be fast, they are on the move. " WallabyPetal told them. They nodded, and SandStorm and ShrewLeap went towards WindClan, and GreyStripe went towards ShadowClan. WallabyPetal sat, and started at her paws " I should just stay here and have cats come to me... " WallabyPetal mumbled.
