-Dust's POV-

My new prisoner hurt herself out of anger. How cute~ "Looks like you're in some pain there, Cupcake~" I teased. She didn't like that. "Y-you th-think?!" she yelled out. Even if it didn't look like it, I felt a little bad for her. But it was her fault she got hurt not mine. "If I go get Cross to heal you, would you stop being so bratty?!" I yelled back. She looked at me with less anger, More of sadness and confusion. She didn't answer which angered me more. "WELL?!" I shouted. I didn't expect her response, she cried. It was silent sobs but still visible and it wasn't from her injuries. She hung her head low and just nodded to me. I probably shouldn't have yelled at her. But she needs to learn her place. "I'll go get Cross. Don't hurt yourself more than you already have." I ordered. She didn't respond but I knew she heard me. So, I left to go get Cross.

-Nobody's POV-

Zeffer knew she wasn't able to do anything, so she just sat there. Though she was uncomfortable, she didn't want to move and risk getting hurt again. But she was curious about what would happen if she did move. surely, he wouldn't hurt her for getting hurt, right? She didn't want to test it out. Though she didn't really enjoy her living conditions, the thought of harm and death terrified her. The dungeon was quiet. One could describe it as the sound of death. Not a sound was in the place. "Hello?" She spoke. "Hello-?" I quieter voice said back, then another following and so on. A small bit of hope returned to Zeffer as she thought there was others there with her. But soon that hope was gone. "Is someone there?" She asked with a bit of energy. "Is someone there-?" the same quieter voice called back. Thats when she realized. Nobody was there, it was nothing but her own echo. Once she realized her loneliness, she was reduced to more tears. Soon after, she heard the entrance to the dungeon creak open. 'No, no, no, STOP CRYING!' She thought to herself. But to her dismay, she couldn't. She had no way of stopping her tears, so she had to turn her head away. It was the only way to hide her tears. Thats when she heard the sound of knocking on metal from where the cell door was. She could only hear since she didn't was her tears to be seen.

-Zeffer's POV-

"So, this is the one?" an unfamiliar voice said. Nothing was said in response, Were they alone? Maybe I can ask for help! I heard the cell door open, I almost jumped up and ran out if I didn't remember I was wall bound. I closed my eyes tight to try and stop more tears. That's when I felt a rather warm hand under my chin, I didn't think much of it until it was trying to move my face in the monster's direction. I kept my head still with all my strength. "Cupcake~ I need you to look at me~" I recognized them as the king, nobody else called me that embarrassing pet name. I didn't want to disobey; I was scared of what this psycho could do to me. Despite not wanting to show the tears, I looked up at him. "M-my name i-isn't Cupcake, It's Zeffer." I Squeaked. He chuckled at this, "Well~ You're my Cupcake now~ So get used to it~" I looked away from him, I couldn't turn my head, but I could still look away. He called for Cross to come heal me, I thought he would leave during the healing process, but sadly he didn't. Cross walked over to me and introduced himself. Dust was kind enough to stand a bit away when the healing started. "How long will this take?" He asked Cross. "If you want her healed properly, it might take a while." Cross said. That was either a lie or he can't heal as well as I can. I could heal myself in a matter of second.  "I-I just n-need b-bandages." I muttered. "Be quick! I have other things to tend to." He growled at Cross. 'Anger issues much-?' I noticed the king looking at me rather angry. Did I say it out loud?! I felt a sudden pain on the back of my head. I almost started to panic before I remembered about the healing. I guess I flinched cause the king crouched down at my side. "Calm down, Cupcake~ It will only hurt for a bit~" He cooed. I started to get a weird feeling in my stomach, but the thing is, I don't know if it's good or bad. A few minutes later, I was almost fully healed but I have to wear bandages because Cross couldn't fully heal me. The king dismissed him, and it was just me and the king.

(Was this a good cliffhanger?
