You seemed to be in a predicament.
There was...a boy, put simply. A boy in your school. You memorized almost everything you could about him. You took notice of his everyday patterns. You noticed the small freckle on his elbow. Yeah, it was weird, but Gun and Goo had never taught you boundaries, so you didn't understand that what you were doing was weird.
At first, you and your crush were just buddies. Since you transferred, you've been rather "popular" and "social," but all you've said is whatever comes to mind. You had no concept of social acceptance; you were simply fortunate that people accepted you. They may have found it odd that you carried a rectangular case around with you, but your charisma appeared to brighten the atmosphere. People fawned over you just from your introduction. They assumed you were a foreigner from another nation who had relocated to South Korea in search of a better life.
Now, let's get back to your crush. He didn't stand out in any way. He had ordinary looks, ordinary friends, and an ordinary existence. His grades were the only thing he had going for him. He was a wise man. Exceptionally astute. Perhaps a tad too perceptive. In comparison to him, you were a moron. You didn't even notice him before. You were too preoccupied with your personal problems to hang out with your pals after school. After school, you had basketball practice, and when you got home, you trained with Gun.
He was ruthless. He wasn't going to be kind with you just because you were a girl. He wants you to be more powerful than the Four Major Crews put together. But....
It seemed like you weren't getting stronger, you were still weak.
That's something he himself told you. When you heard those comments, especially from him, you were crushed. You were so disappointed that you remained up all night the night before school. Everyone didn't notice how your mood had dropped from the previous day when you went the next day. Although it was juvenile, you developed a childish depression of sorts.
I mean, you were only fifteen and a freshman in middle school, and didn't know the real life outside of your hometown, so your feelings were fragile. Especially against the boy you looked up to. Gun was only sixteen. 'Or was it seventeen?'
You couldn't remember.
In any case, what he said stung you to the core. You tried your hardest the entire day to avoid people, but they all came up to you. At lunch, everyone wanted to sit with you. You were on the verge of exploding at them, but you held your calm.
The day had finally come to an end. You packed your belongings and bid everyone farewell. By this time, all of your classmates had dispersed. With the exception of one. You didn't notice him because he was the quiet type. When you knew you'd have to see Gun, your eyes trembled. You became enraged and forcibly shoved a binder into your bag.
"...are you okay?"
A sniffle was heard. "Of course I'm fucking okay!" You rarely said curse words. The words came out almost instinctively. You took in a sharp breath. "Yeah, I'm okay." You repeated more calmly this time. "You sure? You're....crying." He sweat-dropped. You raised a brow and your fingertip went to touch the single tear the streamed down your cheek.
