School AM 08:40–PM 4:00
"Woah, awesome."
"Since when did they get so close?"
Daniel and Jay murmured quietly together.
"The class rep is studying his butt off too."
"At least the loser is good at something."
The class rep grumbled mentally to himself, his eyes scanning his study guide multiple times. 'Hmf! Just wait!!'
Daniel's eyes widened in surprise as he descried the books on his desk. He wildly waved his hands in the air. "Huh? Jay? What are all of these?" Daniel raised his gaze to the blonde. "Things to study with?" Nod. "You've watched them all?" Nod. "You don't need them now?" Nod. Daniel's lips curled into a gentle smile. "Thanks Jay, as always." Jay withal smiled. It had been a placid morning. Daniel thought it was almost too placid. His pupils constricted as he examined the reason for the serene in the room. Why he was at ease. Questions and thoughts raced through his mind, spinning his head.
Jay looked at him questioningly, but Daniel shook it off as too much studying.
"Wait...where's Y/n?"
Library PM 5:00–PM 07:00
After school I was learning from Duke at the library.
"Daniel, like this.." When Daniel failed to solve the quandary again, Duke sweated and mentally palmed his face. "Sorry Duke," Daniel apologized, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, "you can't study because of me." He culminated with a doleful expression. "Nah, i'm learning a lot teaching you." Duke reassured.
The looks that Duke gets...
"Haha. Loser."
"He's an oompah loompa! Haha!!"
"Thank god I don't look like that."
"If I looked like that, what would you do?"
I am quite familiar with. He hears it but he doesn't care.
"Daniel. This one..like this right here." Duke pointed at the correct problem in the book with his finger repeatedly to get Daniel's attention.
Store (night) PM 8:00–PM 11:30
"Hey, you dumb piggy. I told you this formula is incorrect." Zoe sighed irately and shook her head. She looked at Daniel with a blank expression, her brow furrowed slightly. "That's why you're single." She teased. "No one you have a crush on?" Daniel ignored her last replication and endeavored his hardest to fixate on the task at hand.
