Chapter 4: Ayaka's Problem

" Did you hear? Thoma escaped the vision hunt decree!! How could Kamisato Ayaka still not give him up? "

A voice of a female could be heard from afar.

" What? What is she thinking!? What's the use of going against the hunt decree? It's the Raiden Shogun she's facing! "

Another could be heard. Y/N had enough and walked faster, besides, they had far so much to do.

" Good morning..!! "

Y/N greeted as they entered Komore Teahouse, recieving a joyful bark from Taromaru.

" Oh Y/N.. You're here!! "

"Taromaru" said and Y/N shook their head.

" I'm not gonna fall for that, Thoma.. "

Thoma popped out of his hiding, and he wasn't as cheerful as yesterday.

" It's getting really boring here y'know? I had to give it another try! "

He said and sighed.

" Where's Traveler? I thought they were gonna visit along with me. "

Y/N asked.

" Oh, from what I remember they left to look for 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙪. "

Thoma responded.

" Oh, well good luck to them I guess?.. "

After Y/N said that, silence filled the room, no one else had anything to say, I mean, usually, Paimon would interrupt and say something in situations like this.

" So uh.. What do you wanna do now?.. I mean, I did come to visit so we should atleast do something, right? "

Y/N said, they weren't really the best at starting conversations, but that only lasted when an idea popped into their head.

" Aha!! I have an idea, I'll be right back!! "

Y/N said and left immediately with a wave, as usual. The last time they caught a glimpse of Thoma was him waving back with a joyful expression on his face probably glad that he had a friend to keep him company.

" What's with the uncalled order? Is it urgent?? Or for Ayaka? "

Kiminami Anna, who just finished making the pizza she was talking about a couple days ago, said to her friend, Y/N teasingly.

" No no no, it's uh, for.. For myself!! You wouldn't stop talking about it before and I wanted to try it out.. "

Y/N said, boy were they close to saying it was for Thoma, if that was the case.. I mean, They didn't think their friend would rat them out or anything.

" Whatever you say Y/N, give me some updates! "

She said and giggled, handing the pizza to Y/N.

" See you, and thanks a lot!! "

Y/N said and ignored what Kiminami Anna said they didn't have to get their hopes up about Ayaka.

" 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙮𝙖𝙠𝙖??.."

Y/N paused, as she saw a feminine figure sneak into the Teahouse, oh boy.

" Thoma..!! I'm back wi- Ah!! "

Before Y/N finished, they tripped on the carpet and fell right directly on the floor, thankfully the pizza wasn't harmed at all ahah..

" Y/N?! Are you okay?? My deepest apologies..!! "

Y/N could hear their female friend's voice, Ayaka. Attempting to help Y/N up, Ayaka happen to notice the box
Y/N was holding, and smiled.

" I suppose this is for me? "

She said, who knew that this was how Ayaka acted around friends.

" Ahah.. I wasn't expecting you here but.. Yeah,.. A-And for Thoma too!! "

Y/N added which Ayaka and Thoma laughed at.

" Heyy, what's so funny? Alright then I'll eat this myself. "

Y/N said, stood up and took the pizza with them. Even if they were obviously joking, Ayaka grabbed Y/N's hand.

" I really didn't mean to make you leave, sorry. "

Ayaka said, covering her pinkish face with her fan, which instantly left Y/N speechless.

" I-I was just joking ahaha!!.. "

Y/N said nervously and then coughed.

" Ahem.. Uh, the piz- Food!! Will get cold.. Let's go to the table. "

Y/N said and headed straight to the table attempting to change the topic.

" Man I'm stuffed.. "

Thoma said rubbing his stomach.

" That was, certainly an enjoyable meal, thank you, Y/N. "

Ayaka said, as she put her fan infront of her face once again, while smiling.

" So Ayaka I heard Y/N- "

Before Thoma could finish, Y/N hit him with the pillows that happen to be beside them.

" Ah!! Hey hey Y/N I wasn't finished! "

Thoma said and laughed and hit Y/N back, which eventually turned into a pillow fight.

" You two..! The plates might- Mmph! "

Ayaka got hit by Y/N, in the face.

" A-Ayaka!! Are you okay? I'm so sor- mmm!! "

As Y/N was talking, Ayaka hit Y/N back, on the face too and laughed, which immediately continued the fight.

" Hahh.. "

Thoma lied on the floor, defeated, along with Y/N too.

" It seems liks I'm the victor. "

Ayaka said, satisfied as her hair was all messed up because of their little fun pillow fight, everyone laughed in joy as they never had this much fun.
Especially Ayaka, thanks to this day, her worries and problems were wiped away, thanks to Y/N, and thanks to Thoma. Ayaka has never had this much fun, especially with the people she cared about. Which was a good experience for her, maybe one day she'll learn to adapt to this everyday, now that Y/N is around with her, no matter what.
