Chapter 1: A day in the life of Y/N

" I know I know.. "

Y/N repeated to their companion, Kiminami Anna. Ever since that traveler came here, their friend talked about the pizza they made non-stop. It sounded like a strange addiction to
Y/N, rather than an amazing thing, they already heard about the dango milk, so pizza wasn't that surprising to them at all.

" By the way, I've heard this traveler is acquainted with 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐚 herself!! "

Kiminami Anna said, immediately grabbing her dear friend's attention.

" K-Kamisato Ayaka!? THE Kamisato Ayaka!? "

Y/N said, completely shocked, how could such an ordinary traveler get easily acquainted with the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan so quickly??

" Ahahah!! How could the traveler not? They saved Liyue and Monstadt from all it's dangers! "

Y/N's friend excitedly responded as her friend has never gave her that much of a reaction in almost forever.

" That's pretty impressive actually??.. Well anyway, I'm gonna take a walk around for a moment. See you next time!! "

Y/N exclaimed, standing up from their seat, waving Kiminami Anna goodbye, as they part ways.

" The Traveler.. "

Y/N said out of the blue and let out a sigh.

" Wow, first Kamisato Ayaka, who's next? The Raiden Shogun?? "

Y/N said to themself and laughed at their joke. Who knows, what if they were right. But they were too surprised to even think about such thing.

" Hahah.. Well maybe I should visit that festival that's occuring, it's the last day, maybe I can still make it!! "

Y/N said as they ran to the location, hoping to make it in time.

Y/N exclaimed as they were tired of all the running, when suddenly they heard an announcement from the vendors in the festival.

" Everyone!! Ms. Kamisato Ayaka is here!! Keep all the stores open!! "

A man yelled out, catching everyone's attention, including Y/N themself.

" K-Kamisato Ayaka?!?! "

Y/N said and happen to catch a glimpse of the blue-haired, pretty looking female, and a blonde with their uh.. Balloon??.. Y/N was still a little far from the festival so they couldn't see as well.

" I can't let this opportunity go to waste!! "

Y/N exclaimed excitedly and continued running towards the festival.

" Woah woah there!! Don't worry, we're not closing just yet! Kamisato Ayaka herself is currently here! "

One of the vendors who recognized
Y/N said.

" Come on in Y/N!! You might even have the chance to talk to her! "

Y/N suddenly perked up but shook their head.

" I-I just happen to catch interest on the festival, nothing more. "

They said, wiping their sweaty forehead.

" Typical Y/N. "

A female vendor from behind said.

" Yes yes, something like this doesn't happen to me at all, maybe it's just about time I'm being given a chance ahah.. "

Y/N said and then waved, as they wanted to check on the stalls, turning to Ayaka and her companions from time to time, but of course Y/N wasn't the type to say that.

" I'll have this one!! "

Y/N pointed to a cool looking traditional mask, paying for it immediately.

" Thank you Y/N, it's been a while since the last time someone took interest in that design. "

The vendor said, letting out a giggle right after.

" It's no problem, im here to enjoy myself! "

Y/N said and walked on, and decided to check on the 3, yeah, Y/N just realized that floaty friend of theirs was in fact not a balloon.

" ... "

Y/N stayed silent, staring at the 3. Ayaka, Ayaka happen to turn around, facing Y/N's direction as she noticed them just a while ago.

" A-Ah!! "

Y/N exclaimed, immediately turning away from the graceful female who only giggled at Y/N's reaction and turned away to pay more attention to her friends.

" Phew.. "

Y/N exhaled, deciding to probably not look at the 3 for a while, it was just embarrassing... But then that's when Y/N noticed, they were.. Leaving?

" ..... "

Y/N only stayed silent, watching Ayaka drag her friend away and fled the scene.

"𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧??... "

Y/N worriedly thought, as they were in a bit of a panick. What if the next day they really do become a somebody, and that somebody is "Kamisato Ayaka's secret stalker"..

" Y/N? "

A voice from behind said, snapping
Y/N out of all the bad things Ayaka would've thought of them.

" Y/N, we're closing in a little while, it's getting late. "

The female vendor told them and they only nodded in response.

" Sorry, I blacked out for a moment ahah.. "

Y/N said, and bowed and left in a hurry.

That was truly a memorable night for Y/N, as they lied on their bed, refusing to sleep as all they were thinking of was the time they encountered Kamisato Ayaka, most importantly, also the first time they've been noticed by her. And hopefully their made-up title wasn't gonna be true any time soon.

" I can't believe it... "

Y/N muttered and couldn't stop smiling at all, and covered their face.

" Okay Y/N that's enough go to sleep. "

They said, mimicking what their mom would say if well, she was still here. It was a sort of coping mechanism.

Y/N thought, as they turned to face a candle that was used by themself as a light. As Y/N drifted off to sleep, they still couldn't get the meet off their head, as if it was a distant memory from a past life.

" Y/N Y/N Y/N.. "

Y/N repeated to themself, they still couldn't sleep, even of the many attempts to do so.

Y/N thought while attempting to close their eyes again, They weren't that desperate to just fall for someone so easily because of one meeting.. Right?
