All Might found Bakugou's necklace that was stolen, but it was found too late. Izuku knows they'll be after him. He just doesn't know when or how they'll get him.

(No one's POV)

After All Might left, Izuku, Shoto, and Inko were left alone. Izuku was obviously upset that people now knew that the scale belongs to him. Shoto and Inko were both trying to calm him.

Izuku panics. "What are they gonna do to me?! S-Skin me? Chop my tail off? Turn me into sushi?"

Shoto looks at Izuku softly. "None of that is going to happen. I won't let it. And I don't think they want human sushi."

Izuku sniffles and tries to bury his face in Shoto's shoulder. "I'm scared Sho. I'm scared!"

Shoto stroked Izuku's hair and started to him a soft lullaby his mother used to sing him to calm him.

Izuku didn't hear it at first but soon started to calm down as he heard it, his body relaxing and the tears starting to slow.

Shoto smiles softly, gently poking his cheek. "Do you feel better now?"

Izuku hesitates before nodding. "M-Mhm. I think so."

Shoto smiles more and rubs Izuku's cheek. "Good. Now, has this ever happened before?"

Izuku shook his head. "I don't- I don't think so."

Shoto nods slowly. Every protective thought was running through his head. He wanted to protect Izuku with everything he had. He was his friend, more than his friend. He couldn't allow Izuku to get hurt.

Izuku curled up, wanting all of this to just disappear.

(Bakugou's POV)

I feel so stupid! How could I have let it get stolen? Now my friend's gonna get hurt! I sigh. It doesn't matter it's already been done. I'm going to apologize and hopefully he doesn't turn away this time. I really do feel bad... I just hope it's not already to late. His mother already told me off all the things that could happen to Izuku. It honestly made me shiver all the ways that people could hurt him. I walk onto the beach and walk slowly toward the beach house.

I see Inko walk outside with a pressure washer. I knew they had to pressure wash their house a lot since it's right on the water. I called out to her, "Auntie Inko!"

She turns around and looks at me, setting the washer down. "Katsuki? What are you doing over here?"

I look at her and sighed. "I came to talk to Izuku."

She looks back at me. "Sorry Katsuki. He's taking a nap right now. You could talk to him later."

I sigh and nod softly. "Alright. Thank you Auntie Inko."

She nods and grabs the hose and starts washing the house as I walk away.

I'll just try again later or another day...

(Time skip!)

(Izuku's POV)

Me and Sho were out playing in the water happily. We made sure not to go too far but it was enough where we could see my mom and she could see us if she looked.  Sho had gotten better at swimming so I'm really happy! He was finally learning so we could play together.

Sho splashed water on me and I giggled. "Shooo! No splashing water!"

Sho shrugged and smiled. "We're surrounded by it. I'm sure we're fine."

My ears twitch slightly and I look around, spotting a small boat. I sank enough to where they couldn't see my tail and they pass by.

Sho looks at me. "Izuku. They were watching you. Maybe we sho-"

I wave my hand. "It's fine Sho. Many boaters pass through here. It's not that big of a deal."

I heard the boat come back and didn't look at them this time. This time, neither I or Sho could act fast enough. A large net was shot at me so I couldn't move and I squirm heavily trying to get out. "L-Let me go!"

They started pulling me to the and I thrash angrily, trying to hit their boat with my tail, trying to do anything to escape. I look to the house. Mom wasn't in the living room! She must be in the bathroom!

Sho tried to swim over and they shot a net at him as well, tangling him up enough to where he couldn't swim. As I saw him start to sink, I felt my blood boil. I'd never been aggressive before but this time was different. I take a deep breath and let out a loud, high-pitched scream.

One of the men looked at me and chuckled. "Damn. You sound like a girl. It's pathetic!"

All the rest of the crew started laughing and I carefully slice my way from the net and the tide rushed forward, creating a tsunami that built up quickly over them. They all murmur and back away in fear.

I giggle and wave. "Bye-bye!" I dive underwater and sliced Todoroki net carefully pulling him out as the wave crashes onto the boat, capsizing the boat and leaving the men stranded.

I carefully swim with Sho back to shore and look at him.

He opens his mouth to speak.

I put my finger on it. "Don't tell me I told you so."

He nods and we dry ourselves off and go back into the house happily with intertwined fingers and smiles.
