I am starting on the first day of class because we'll all know what happens in the entrance exam. So this is now in spring. Shoto and Izuku have spent time together and have developed a closer relationship, but they're still friends right now.

(Izuku's POV)

I held my backpack straps tightly. Today was the first day at UA. So many thoughts were going through my head. I was just so excited! I mean, who wouldn't be? I tripped on my lace and closed my eyes.

I felt a slight jerk on my bag and a soft familiar voice. "Be careful Izuku."

I looked up. Shoto held the strap at the top of my bag to keep me up. "S-Shoto! I'm sorry. I didn't see my lace was untied..."

He pulled me up and stood me up straight. "It's alright. Here, I'll tie it for you." He bent down and grabbed the laces to tie them.

I stuttered, "Y-You don't have to do that."

He looked up at me as he continued to tie my shoe. "Yes I do. If I don't you'll fall again." He finished tying my shoe and pats the toe. "There."

I smiled softly. "Thank you Shoto."

He softly nodded. "No problem."

Someone bumped into me hard. "Ow! Watch out!"

I heard a growl and stepped back. The blond of my childhood stared straight at me with a glare. His ruby eyes boring a hole into my skull. "So nerd. You made it."

"K-Kacchan..." I slightly trembled.

Shoto looked at Kacchan. "Who are you?"

Kacchan looked at Shoto with a glare as well. I hope they don't end up fighting...

Kacchan put his hands in his pockets. "I'm Katsuki Bakugou, soon to be the number one hero. And who the hell are you?"

Shoto gently put a hand on my shoulder. "I'm Izuku's friend. Shoto Todoroki."

Kacchan laughed softly and I see a small necklace hanging from his neck. It had a lime scale hanging from a small chain.

Wait... That's my scale! Oh right. I gave one to him as a gift. I'm surprised he kept it. Katsuki and his mom and dad were the only ones mom trusted enough that I could show my form. It was his birthday so I gave him one as a gift of friendship.

"Hey!"

Kacchan's yell startled me. "H-Huh?"

He glared at me. "Stop staring and pay attention. Is this guy really your friend?"

I nod. "Yeah. He is."

Shoto pulled out his phone. "Well. We'll be off to class now. Come on Izuku." He gently tapped my shoulder and I followed.
