Broken Trust

This will be a sad chapter so fair warning.

Also I forgot to mention in the last chapter that the first day was on a Friday so it'll make sense for this chapter.

(Bakugou's POV)

I woke up and groaned as the light peeked through my window and hit me straight in the eyes. "Damn hag." My mom had purposely put my bed in a specific place so when the sun rose, it would wake me up. I sit up and stretch, feeling around for the necklace and putting it on.

The old hag yelled out, "Are you waking up Katsuki?"

"Yes! I am!"

"Well hurry up I need you to go shopping! We need groceries!"

I growl, "Why do I have to go?!"

"Because I told you to! Now get your stubborn ass up and get your shoes on!"

I growl more and get up, going to get my shoes on. "Stupid hag. Stupid groceries." I went downstairs and she held out a list.

"This is everything we need. Don't forget anything. Here's some cash."

I take the list and the cash and roll my eyes. "Yeah yeah, I won't." I walk out the door and start walking to the store. I heard a ping from my phone and pull it out.

Fishy Nerd

Hey Kacchan!

Future Number 1

What is it?

Fishy Nerd

I was wondering if you, your mom, and your dad want to come over for dinner.

Future Number 1

I'll have to ask the hag. I'm out to get damn groceries.

Fishy Nerd

Oh don't call her a hag.

Future Number 1

Shut up. I can do as I please.

Fishy Nerd

Okay. Just make sure you ask your mom.

Future Number 1

Don't tell me what to do.

Fishy Nerd

Okay

I put my phone away and look forward with my hands in my pockets.

(When he gets to the store)

I walk in and pull out the list. "Let's see." I walk around looking for the items and put them in a basket. I got to the counter once I was finished shopping and placed the basket down. The cashier began scanning the items and I pulled out the money, setting it down.

The cashier puts the groceries in bags. "There you go. Where's the- Oh." They grab the money and give the change back. "Have a nice day!"

I simply wave and walk out with the bags. Hmmm. I'm hungry... I'm sure the old hag wouldn't mind if I used the bit of change. I look around and notice a curry shop. I walk in and hold the groceries.

As it was my turn the cashier looked at me. "What can I get for you?"

"I'd like a bowl of extra spicy curry."

He looked at me slightly and looked at my necklace. I quickly cover it. "Excuse me!"

"Oh I'm sorry! One extra spicy curry coming up." He called out to the people in the back and I go to stand by the wall. I could feel the guy staring at me and growled. I pulled up my necklace and cup it in my hand. Did he see this? Does he want it? Well too bad, he ain't getting it.

He called or my number after a few and I give him the amount it costed and grab it from him. "Thanks." I go outside and sit down at one of the tables, setting the groceries down. I start eating my curry and look at people passing by.

(Nobody's POV)

The cashier had went on break and eyed Katsuki. He wanted the necklace. He walked to the door and went invisible, obviously his quirk. He walked outside and moved his hand near Katsuki's neck.

Katsuki looked around a bit. He hadn't noticed the cashier. The cashier quickly took the necklace and broke it off Katsuki's neck. Katsuki got up as the cashier ran away, letting his invisibility rest.

Katsuki yelled out as he chased him, "Hey! Give that back!" He activated his quirk slightly and used it to go faster. The cashier looked back at him and pushed his way into the crowd. Katsuki soon lost him and sighed. "Damn it..." He walked back to the curry shop and sighed as he picked up the groceries and the styrofoam curry bowl. "Nerd's gonna be pissed."

(After he went back to the house and dropped off the groceries and curry to his good ol' mom)

(Bakugou's POV)

I went back out the door and started walking to nerd's house. His house wasn't that far away. 

(When he gets to Izuku's house because I'm lazy)

I knock on his door and sigh. I see him through the glass walking toward the door.

"Hey Kacchan! What's up?"

"I'm. I know you said to let anyone take my necklace."

"W-What happened?"

"Someone stole it. The ripped it from my neck."

He went blank. "Wh-What?"

"I tried to chase after him and he went into a crowd! I couldn't get it."

He growled, "You idiot! Do you realize what could happen now?!"

"Deku! I tried to get it!"

He started crying and looked at me. "I can't believe this! You said you wouldn't let anyone have it! No matter what!"

"I told you! They broke it from my neck and I tried!"

"You didn't try enough! I trusted you with that scale!"

"I'm sorry! Damn!"

He slammed the door in my face and I jump. I saw him run upstairs and sigh. I could see why he was upset. I might have just costed him. I turn around and sulk back to my house, feeling bad that I couldn't get the scale necklace back.  I texted my mom that I was on my way back and continue walking.
