Haneul POV
"Stop. Enter from this door." Hyunsuk said holding something wierd in his hand.

"Ok but what's that?" I asked as he grabbed my wrist. "A thermometer." He said a second after I realised what it was.

He measured my temperature and then let me go.

"What's that for?" I asked.

"Ghosts are cold. So I'm measuring temperatures to check who's the coldest. The coldest one is the ghost." He said writing down his recent observations in his shabby handwriting.

Haruto walked right through the back door as I stared. "Isn't he getting checked?" I asked.

"No...he gets a free pass. "

"And why is that?"

"Because...he loves red bean paste. He ate well yesterday..."

"And..."

"Ghosts are scared of red bean paste."

"Oh... Okay." I said shaking my head walking past him. That ghost bullshit again.

I still have thoughts on this ghost situation but I decided to keep them to myself knowing how Hyunsuk is passionate about all this ghost stuff.

{During class}

Junkyu and Haruto were yet again on the last bench talking as usual. He was the only one who's get Ruto to open up like that. No doubt they were best friends.

{After class}

I swear to god, one more prank from Jihoon and he's had it. Not only did i almost die seeing that ghost pop out out of nowhere in the middle of the physics lesson, my benchmate Jeongwoo almost flew out of the window knocking me on the ground.

Jihoon was now snorting in the front of the class and it took every milimeter of control in me to not walk up to him and punch him.

A deep "You Okay?" echoed in my ear as a hand pulled me up.

"Thanks." I said blushing after realising who it had been.

"Your hands are really cold... Do you want me to turn up the heating for the class?" I asked, genuinely concerned about how cold his hands had been.

He immidiately put his hands behind his back as if to hide them.

Note to self: Haruto is sus.

"No... I'm fine. See you at the library again today?" He asked.

"Sure!" I replied a little too fast.

I mentally punched myself as I spoke before he even finished his sentence.

Things were getting pretty heated up in the front of the class as Jaehyuk and Jihoon argued with Hyunsuk joining in, defending Jaehyuk.

Jihoon: It was just a funny prank.

Hyunsuk: Do you think this is funny?!

Jihoon: What?

Hyunsuk: We should be looking for ghosts... Not playing stupid pranks.

Jihoon: You seriously want me to believe there's a ghost in here?

Junkyu: Exactly! I don't believe it either! But it is weird everyone thinks that this class has only 20 students...

Junkyu: Then who's the ghost?

"Hey! Maybe it's Yoshi!" A student with a bowlcut suggested.
" He made the pen disappear...normal people can't do that."

" It was just a magic trick!" He said, offended in the first place that someone would even suspect him.

"He taught me how to do it!" I said getting up. " And I also saw how he hid the pen under his sleeve." I said refering to the small magic trick Yoshi had shown us all before the class started.

He shot me a thankful look and I nodded before sitting back down.

"Then what about Haruto?" someone asked as all the students' attention was now shifted to Haruto. He seemed slightly uncomfortable from the sudden attention as all he did was point to himself and say "Me?"

"It's not Haruto...he loves red bean ice flakes..." Hyunsuk said.

" Hold on. " Hyunsuk said as he flipped the pages of the book he was holding.

"There's a sure way we can find out." He said. "Ahh! Here!"
" I was saving it for later... " He muttered as he joined his fingers to make a fox window.

(The fox window game is a method to see ghosts by simply making yours hands into a specific shape and peering through them. It originated in Japan.)

As he looked through his hands at the window, a dead crow crashed into the window sending half the class screaming

As he looked through his hands at the window, a dead crow crashed into the window sending half the class screaming.

Right then Mashiho came in running holding a painting full of red color and crows... Was it perhaps painted with...BLOOD?!

"It says Asahi on the painting!" Doyoung said out of pure school.

" Is that why you were mumbling something in the art room?" Junghwan asked.

Doyoung: What do you mean?

Junghwan showed him and the class the video he had filmed where Asahi sat right in front of the painting, mumbling something.

Mashiho: Did you...curse it?! And that crow?

Hyunsuk: His hand was the coldest in my records this morning.

Doyoung: Tell ME ASAHI! WAS IT YOU?!

Asahi scoffed once and unbottoned the first few buttons of his shirt causing Yeonhee who was sitting beside to look away, covering her eyes.

He pulled out the chain with a cross on it. He also pulled up his sleeves to show the cross tattoed across his arm.

Props to that guy for having a tattoo in high school...I could never.

"Does this make it clear that I'm not the ghost?" He said glaring at Doyoung.

" Then explain this." Junghwan said showing him the video.

"I was praying for all of us." He said.

"And your cold hands?"

"I have a condition that causes cold hands and feet." He said as he stormed out of the class.

"What's up with y'all doubting each other?" I said standing up.
"It's as simple as a counting error in the list. There is no ghost! Don't you get it?!" I said finally lashing my anger out.

"Calm down." Jeongwoo said.

"You're the one to talk Jeongwoo! You almost trampled me after the crow incident!" I snapped.

I took a deep breath, collecting myself together before speaking again.

" We all were perfectly fine before this. I can't stand y'all fighting with each other. Let's just stop and let this situation end. There's no ghost in our class. And Hyunsuk, don't teach them stuff from that book of yours." I said walking out to follow Asahi and apologise to him on the behalf of my friends.
