Mads directly drags me to the kitchen and passes me a drink. We both take a shot and then she drags me outside in the backyard.

The house was filled with people from my high school drinking, smoking, making out and it is obvious that most of them are high already.

"Ay Maddie!" A guys shouts.

"Hey guys this is Azalea" she introduces me

"Az this is Aaron" she points at a very good looking dirty blonde guy, he smiles and I smile back.

"This is Andrew" he winks at me.

"This is Carter" we smile at each other.

"And This is Bryce" he smirks.

"Okay I'ma call you Az too" Aaron says and I giggle nodding.

"So where were you before you came here?" Carter asks.

"Australia, but I was born here in California itself, I went to Australia with my dad when I was thirteen"

"Oh, So I guess you and Maddie have been childhood Best Friends?" Andrew asks taking a sip of his beer.

"Yup" Mads replies before I could and I smile nodding "yeah" I say and they all nod.

"Thats nice you -" Carter was cut off.

"Elliott man I thought you were gonna ditch us!" Bryce yelled and I froze.

I turned around and saw Elliott standing behind me. I then looked at Mads and she gives me an assuring smile.

"Look man! I made a new best friend today and now I dont have to always be stuck with you weird assholes 24×7" Aaron says putting his arms around my shoulder and hugging me sideways.

I bite my lips nervously and look up at him. He looked angry with has jaw slightly clenched and his eyes were little dark. God he surely doesn't like my presence here. I then smile and look at Mads again and then she nods eaily reading my mind.

"Oh okay guys I gotta go and introduce Az to the others so see you later!" Mads says and holds my hand dragging me out of there.

"God Az you should have said something to him!" She says crossing her arms over her chest.

"Did you even see his face? He looked so pissed and that was surely because of my presence there, I didn't want to spoil this evening" I say looking down

"God its okay come on don't be upset now, lets go meet others" she says and I nod.

"Woah Maddie who do you have here?" A guy asks, I don't recognize him at first but then it clicks that its they guy from the morning.

"None of your business Chase" chase right.

"I was just asking, she is really hot" he says and I narrow my eyes.

"Uh yeah you do know that I'm right here right?" I ask. Because he was talking as if I'm not anywhere near him.

"Yeah babe I know chill" he says and walks away before winking at me.

"Stay away from him as much as possible he-" Mads was cut off when a voice interrupts.

"Hey Mads! Do you want go grab a drink with me? I want to talk" the guy says and then I notice those green eyes and those green eyes notice my brown eyes. He looks at me and then he widens his eyes.

"No way" he says and runs a hand over his hair. God please dont tell me that he's gonna ignore me too. I cross my fingers and look at Mads.
