chapter Twenty One

Azalea

It is Monday again. Sighing I get out of my bed and head up to the washroom and do my morning routine. Then I pick an outfit and quickly put it on.

I hadn't received any texts from Elliott and that made me a little sad. It hadn't even been that long since we started dating and things are already not good.

I pack my bag and head downstairs for breakfast, I walk out of my room and fall back on my butt really hard when Austin jumps right in front of my room door as soon as I open it.

"Ow Austin!" I yell and stand up.

"I was just trying to scare you a little, didn't think you would fall so hard" he says laughing. I stand up and walks behind him as he was still laughing and then I kick the back of his knee slowly making him fall frontwards and now I laugh. He turns around and looks at me with a death glare and then an evil smirk. Oh shit I know that smirk.

I turn around and run for my life.

"Mom!" I shout hoping she's here today. I skip the last three steps by jumping and run into the living room and then kitchen with Austin chasing me.

"Momm!" I shout again and hear her soft giggle. Yes!.

I see mom in front of the oven so I quickly go and stand beside her and smirk at Austin but he still walks towards me, I stick my tongue out knowing mom will help me. Austin smirks and keeps coming towards me.

"Mom, you need to save your only daughter today. Mom help, mom-" I say and mom takes a step back making way for Austin.

"Mom! You betrayed me!" I shout and run back from the backdoor of the kitchen and see Austin right behind me.

I quickly get back inside and hide behind the couch as Austin had slowed down. I take a deep breath and try to steady my breath.

I duck my head down and feel a tap on my head. I slowly lift my head up and see Austin grinning. I stand up and get ready to run but Austin picks me up and throws me on the couch and starts tickling my stomach.

"N-no Austin, s-stop!" I shout laughing and Austin keeps on tickling me.

"A-austin! I-I can't breathe!" I shout catching my breath and he quickly pulls back. He laughs and walks back inside laughing so I pick a cushion up that was beside me and then it at the back of his head and then gets backfired as he turns around catching it on time and then he throws it hard on my face.

"Ugh! I hate you!" I groan and walk back to the kitchen as I hear them both laughing.

"I don't know any of y'all but just saying  that I'm going to school so bye" I say and walk out of the room after grabbing my bag and phone.

I walk for five minutes and stop as I hear someone honking a lot. Assholes should really stop honking so much especially when there's literally no one on the road.

The car stops beside me and I turn my head to see it is. Elliott.

"Get in the car lea" he says as he opens the door.

"I don't want to talk to you right now" I say walking faster.

"I wasn't asking"

"I don't care"

"Okay, look. I'm sorry. I really am. I swear to God I won't ever let her come near me again. I'm really sorry" he breathes out.

"You don't expect me to directly forgive you and start being all  girlfriendy-girlfriendy to you, do you?

"I don't. I know I messed up. Let me make up for this. How about Lunch after school?"

"I will think about it"

"Please get in the car now"

"Ask me nicely"

"Lea. Please can you get in the car? I don't want you to walk so much, its very sunny today" he says.

With throwing a last final glare at him, I get in the car and stay silent the entire time.

And ofcourse I'm still very mad at him.

School got over real quick. Math teacher was absent so we got two free periods and I have never been happier.
And now here I'm waiting for Eli.

I feel a tap on my shoulder so I turn around and see Jackson.

"Hey" he says and hugs me tightly.

"Hi, I can't breathe"

"Sorry. I need your biology notes" he says with a pout.

"Jackson-"

"Please. I promise I'll buy you food the next time we hang out"

"Fine" I say and hand him my biology book.

"Bye love ya" he says and walks away. I sigh and turn around and see Elliott walking towards me.

"Hi" he says as he cups my face and kisses me but I pull away.

"Hi" I say looking up at him.

"How do you always look so beautiful?" He asks cupping my cheeks and placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Okay let's go" he says and grabs my hand.

We reach my favorite diner and I couldn't help but smile widely.

He remembers.

"You remember" I say looking at him.

"Ofcourse I do. I remember every single thing about you" he says walking us in.
