Chapter Seven

When I first saw her I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought I was still dreaming. Then I heard her voice and noticed the tiny black mole above her lip and thats when I knew that its her. It was actually her. I felt the world stop, everything went silent.

Me and Nicholas used to stalk her socials every month, she looked amazing, but she looked more beautiful in real life, everything about her changed except her eyes.

I was happy that she was back, But I was angry at the same time. I was angry that she left me without telling anything. She was my first ever crush. I adored her, I loved her even when I didn't know the actual meaning of love. But I hate her for now, she left me and everything shattered. I still remember that day.

My dad came home drunk as usual, he beat my mom, then my brother and me. The fucking bastard was going to hit my sister too. But I stopped him, he beat me up more when I accidentally raised my hand to punch him. The house was filled with screams and sobs, our neighbours were thankfully home so they called the police, the police arrested him and then my mom filed a proper case about how he used to abuse us.

After everything that happened that night, I went at Lea's, she was always there for me and she made me calm down. I was just thirteen and everything was way too much for me to handle.

Lea always made me forget about my problems, she always made me happy at my worst times. And when I went there my heart broke into trillions of pieces. This is Weird or whatever you want to call it but she was the light to my darkness.

"I'm Sorry Elliott, I thought she must have told you, I'm actually shocked that she didn't even talk about it once" aunt Aundrila said with a lonely tear falling on her cheeks. I nodded sniffling and wiped my face harshly.

"Why dont you come in? I will clean your face" she asks and I shake my head.

"Do you want to talk to her?" I shook my vigorously.

"Okay I get it, here is her dad's number and her number, you can always call them whenever you want, I'm sure you might have her snapchat or discord so you can contact her there too please dont worry everything will be alright okay?" She said and I just nodded waking away from that house.

She is gone. She never told me about it. I never got to tell her how much I liked her. I wont have my best friend anymore. I wont have my comfort person anymore. I wont get to see that cute little face ever.

With those million thoughts and tears running through my cheeks I went home and locked myself in my room and didn't talk to anyone for days. My mom, brother and sister came up to me but I didn't do or say anything.

"Bro! Are you even listening?!"
Bryce yelled pulling me out of thoughts.

"Yes, what?"

"Nicholas asked if you wanted to hangout with Mads and Az after school we could miss this boring last period"

"No I don't want to"

"Hey man, I get it you were hurt when she left without telling you, but now she's back, you can be best friends again, I know somewhere deep down you still care about her and maybe like her" Nicholas says

"Yeah man I'm sure you like her, I mean she is so fucking hot if I was you I would-" Bryce gets cut off when Nicholas slaps him on his head.

"Shut up" Nicholas says and I glare at Bryce.
