This is like the 1989 movie of The Little Mermaid, but entirely different. A mother (who's a mermaid) and a father (human) were married and had 1 human Son and 1 Mermaid Daughter. Thinking of a divorce could help the relationship, they took their separate ways with 1 child to take care, worried that the children would find each other 1 day. But what happens when Qana made a deal with the Sea Witch (Ursula) to exchange her mermaid tail for human legs (after saving Jack from drowning on a stormy night) for 3 days to find out why Qana saved Jack.
(Note: Instead of a love story, it's a family/sibling story of a brother and a sister. And yes, Qana and her mom lives in Atlantica. If Qana found the whole truth of why she saved Jack's life and discover the real reason for her parents divorce, she'll remain a human permanently. But if not, she'll turn back into her mermaid form and belong to Ursula)
