We say our goodbyes to everyone. Kendra almost kills me in a tight hug. I miss her crazy vibe. "Girl, you look beautiful," she spins me around to get a good look at my outfit.

"Says the bride," I laugh. She looks stunning. We talk for a while. I haven't seen her for a while, so the questions come pouring from both sides.

I tell her about Chris, and she was ready to rip him a new one when I started my story. She and Luca really are soulmates. Luckily, the good outweighs the bad in our situation.

Our conversation dies down after a few pictures. I give Luca one last hug before we leave.

"I can't wait to get you home, in my bed," he smirks, kissing my cheeks.

"You're such a child sometimes," I laugh. Humour and dominance swim in his eyes, making my heart race. Yeah, we gotta go. We stop by the front desk to talk to a couple.

I pull Chris' hand. "I need to use the bathroom before we leave," I whisper when the couple is distracted.

"Do you want me to go with you?"

I shake my head. "I'll be quick," I kiss his cheek swiftly before leaving. I turn the wrong way about twice. I should have asked him to come.

I finally see it. I go in and do my business. This is a really nice bathroom. It sparkles and smells like roses. I dry my hands and turn around to see a man. Why is he in here? "You do know this is a ladies' room, right?" I cock an eyebrow.

He leaned against the door, blocking me in. His sharp grey eyes pierced into mine, making me feel small. His red hair looked like was constantly running his hand through it. He was dressed in black from head to toe, and it felt uneasy in his presence.

I scan his face. My face blanches when his identity becomes clear. "Brandon Taylor," his smirk grows.

"You're a smart one," his voice is smooth but it sounds like gravel in my ears.

"What do you want?" I need to get out of here. I don't feel safe. I grip my bag in my hand, ready to swing.

"I think you know that already," he steps forward, causing me to take a step back.

"He is not going to shut it down. He is sorry for your loss, but you know he won't," he steps forward again. I'm practically on the wall.

"Oh, I know," his body stands before me. His smug grin grows on his face. How did he get so close to me? "That's why I'm going to give him a little push."

Before I can say anything else, I feel a painful sting on my neck. My clutch falls to the ground and the last thing I see is Brandon's ginger hair and dark grey eyes.

My last thought, however, is the man I love. The man who I desperately want to bust through the door and save me.
