I wake up the next morning snuggled into noah. He slowly blinks his eyes open "what time is it?" "8:30". We get up and brush our teeth. "Man it feels so nice to have clean teeth" I say. "Are we doing anything today?" He asks. "We have that party at deannas" I say. "A party?" "Yeah like a welcome party". "Well I'm gonna go hang out with Carol today. We are making cookies for it." I say as I'm heading out the door. "Bye" "bye" .

I walk to Carol's door and knock. "Hey carol". She opens the door "oh hi y/n". We get all the batter mixed up. "Why are you faking being a weak old lady?" I ask her. She looks at me "To make it seem like I'm weak. So when they least expect it. I'm not" she says. "Why dont you just scare them off?" I ask. "It dosent work like that y/n" "oh". We put the cookies in the oven. "Do you ever think about sophia?" I ask her. She stays quiet for a minute "all the time. Why?" She turns over to me. "I can't get the thought of beth out of my head. Just seeing her get shot replays in my mind over and over"

"Thatll do it to you. You just gotta be strong." She says. She may be the most tough woman on the planet, but shes always had a sweet spot for me. Ever since me and glenn met there group. The oven beeped. "Oo frosting time!" I say and she chuckles. We decorate the cookies. "Alright I should go help noah" "bye darling" "bye carol" I say as I leave.

I walk into the house. Me and Noah should get our own house. We've been with glenn and Maggie. I'll talk to him at the party. "Hey noah" I say as I walk in. Hes in his regular outfit still. "The party is in 15 minutes. Go get changed" "ok" he goes and changes. I change in the bedroom. I put on a blue shirt with some black jeans. "Ready to go?" I ask him "yep". We get there and the house is crowded. Me and noah stay by the table the whole time eating food. Maggie and glenn come up to us "hey" she says. "Hey maggie" we both say. "You guys okay?" Glenn asks. "Yeah just not really our thing" "oh" "yeah we were thinking of heading out-" I begin to say. "No. You're not bailing" Glenn says. "Come on"

They bring us to where people are dancing. "Come on" Glenn grabs my hand and brings me to the middle of it. He spins me then smiles. I laugh. "So. You and noah a thing yet?" He asks. "Glenn we've been a thing. Have you not seen us kiss?" I say. "I wish I had more time with you like I did back in the beginning. You're maturing so much" he says. "Thanks glenn." He brings us back to the table. Then the slow song plays. maggie and glenn go out and I look at noah. "Fine". I grab his and I bring us by maggie and Glenn. I put my hands on his shoulders and he puts his on my waist. He pulls me closer to him as the song goes on.

This is another time when you forget you're in an apocalypse. When you forget what's outside. The song ends and so does the night. We walk home and I remember what I was going to talk to noah about. "Hey noah" "yeah" "so I was thinking and maybe we should move into our own house." I say. "Sure. We can talk to deanna in the morning" he says. We go to bed. That's the most fun I've had since this thing began.
