Y/ns POV

That morning I wake up to a knocking on my door. Its rick. "Hey rick" I say. "Hey. Just wanted to tell you that if you or Noah need me I'm gonna be at the junction." I noticed he was in a cop uniform. "You a cop again?" "Yep" "cool. Bye rick" "bye y/n".

"What are you doing today?" I ask noah. "I'm meeting with reg. Hes gonna help me become a construction person" "oo that sounds fun" I say. "I'm talking to deanna about getting our new house". "Good luck" I tell him and peck his cheek.

Noah's pov

I go and sit down on the bench where he told me to meet him. He comes walking down with two cups in his hand. "Sorry I'm late. Power went out again" he says. "How is it that you call an early morning meeting, yet I'm the one bringing breakfast?" He asks with a smile. "You're a goog guy". He hands me the cup. "What's up?" He asks. "Can we start meeting in the morning?" I ask him. "So I can bring you oatmeal and ask you what the meetings about?" "So you can help me build things". Hs looks at me. "You wanna be an architect? Those walls there. You think they could fall?" He asks. "I think they could get knocked in. Maybe right now. Or when I'm your age" "I'll still be around when I'm your age." He says. "It wouldnt hurt for me to know a little of what you know. For the walls and the houses. Some new buildings". "So you're in it for the long haul?" He asks me. I nod "yeah". He grabs a notebook from his pocket. "What are you writing?" I ask. "I write everything down. Everything that matters" he says as he rips out the pages that hes written on. "Now you should" he smiles while handing me the notebook. I grab it "thank you".

Y/ns POV

I knock on Deannas door. She comes and opens it "hey y/n! Anything you need?" She asks. "Yeah. I was wondering something. Would it be possible for me and Noah to have our own home?" I ask. She smiles "of course. The one right next to where your staying is empty. You can move in tonight after your run" she says. "Thank you deeana!"

I meet with Noah at the house. "Guess what" he says. "What?" "So I talked to reg today and hes gonna teach me to build." He smiles. "Noah that's amazing! When do you start?" Tomorrow morning". "What did deanna say?" "She said we can move in next door after our run tonight". He smiles and hugs me "we get our own place! Yay" "ok we should get ready for the run".

We meet up with everyone and get in the van. Another mix starts playing. "Great another mix" Noah says with a smile. Me and tara both laugh. "Helps draw them away" glenn laughs. We get there and start loading up. We walk in and start looking through stuff. Me and noah dont find anything. "Guys over here!" Tara yells. Aiden starts shooting at a walker with armor on. He keeps shooting it. Theres a grenade. "AIDEN STOP!" Then theres a loud boom and everything goes to black. I wake up to noah holding my head. "Are you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine" we find eugene, who's stuck. "Is she breathing" glenn asks. Its then that I notice tara on the other side of the shelf

"I can't see from here" eugene says. Theres a walker. "Euegene that's yours take it out." He aims the gun but his hands are too shaky. Then another one comes up and grabs him. Glenn climbs over the gate and stabs it. "You okay?" Glenn asks. He nods. "Me and eugene will take the office. You two get tara! Go!" Glenn yells. We climb over and grab tara. We put her on a cart and glenn walks over. "Hows she doing" "she has head trauma but shes breathing" I say.

"We need to get her to the van." Eugene says. Aiden starts grunting "what?" Nicholas asks "he wasnt breathing!" "Its gonna take at least 4 of us to get to him." Glenn says. "Do we have that kind of time?" Noah asks. "Go save him." Eugene says. "I'll get tara to the truck". We go and start fighting the walkers. We make it over to aiden. "Everythings gonna be ok." Glenn starts pulling him and he screams. They pull again. Nicholas walks away. Glenn tries pulling him. "They're coming" Noah says. We have no choice but to leave him. "They're here!" Noah yells as he grabs me and glenn.

We make it to the doors. Me, glenn and Noah are in one side. Nicholas is alone in the other. We are trying to hold it in. We have the guns and nicholas has the ammo. "I need you guys to hold this steady. I'm gonna break the glass" Glenn says. We all hold on and he hits it, but it dosent work. "Its not gonna break!" Nicholas yells. Please dont do anything stupid. Nicholas starts pushing his leg through. "STOP!" "NO" we all scream. He makes it through and a walker grabs Noah's leg. I grab his hand " I love you" and he let's go. "NOAH!! STOP!" Me and glenn are trapped inside one of the doors. Noah gets pushed up against the door. I see the fear in his eyes. He screams as the walkers bite him. One of them even tears his cheek off. My Noah. My best friend. Gone. Because of nicholas.

I scream as Noah's body drops. I look over to glenn and see hes crying. We get out. And I can barely walk. I walk over to nicholas "HOW COULD YOU!" I scream and punch him in the face. I get on top of him and continue punching him before glenn rips me off of him. "We can deal with him later we need to go". We get in the car. I start sobbing into Glenn's shoulder. "Noah. Noah." I'm going to kill nicholas.
