On a bright sunny day, Max takes (Y/N), Gwen, and the girls to his favorite pier from his childhood, Squid City, as it could be their last chance to see it before it's replaced by a megaplex.

Max: "Squid City, this place is a special part of my childhood and this could be your last chance to see it. Pretty soon they are gonna tear this whole place down and put in one of those shiny new megaplexes. You can't stop the march of progress but at least I can let you guys experience the local delicacies one last time. Wait, where's (Y/N)?"

Ellie: "He's over there."

Ellie points to where(Y/N) was. (Y/N) was standing in front of the Squid City sign, staring wide-eyed at the sign with a sickening feeling in his stomach.

Ellie: "(Y/N), earth to (Y/N)?" (Ellie called out to him.)

(Y/N): "Squids...squids everywhere!"

Max: "Hurry (Y/N), your gonna miss out, it's ice cream - Squid City style."

(Y/N): "I like ice cream. What's squid city-style about it?"

Max: "Black ice cream, made with squid ink."

(Y/N): 😰 "Squid... Ink... Ice?"

(Y/N) then starts to visualize the squid ice cream vendor as an actual squid, but bigger.

(Y/N): 😰 (high-pitched squeal) "Not hungry!"

Gwen: "Wow, that's not something I thought I hear you say, like ever. Let me show you how a girl does it, squid vendor serve me up the large!"

(Y/N): "Well, I'll have an extra-large, oh no, what have I done."

Max: "Great, you girls want black ice cream too?"

Ellie: "No thanks, we're good."

Max: "You sure?"

All the girls gave different answers that resulted in a 'yes'.

Max: "Okay then, we'll have 3 of your finest squid ink cones!"

Squid Vendor: "Coming right up."

The squid vendor begins to make the ice cream.

Gwen: "Nice, I thought your gonna chicken out."

(Y/N) transforms into Parasyte and slinks away.

Carrie: "Where is he going?"

Gwen: "Don't know, let's follow him."

Gwen and the girls ran off to where (Y/N) went, only to find him hiding by bonding with a vendor in a concession stand, pretending to be the vendor himself.

Gwen: "Really (Y/N)?"

Vendor (Parasyte): "L-lay down your money or keep moving, I don't have all day."

Gwen: "What's the big deal?"

Vendor (Parasyte): "What do you mean?"

Ellie: "Ever since we got here you've been acting strange, is there something you want to tell us?"

Vendor (Parasyte): "Nope!"

Carrie: "Are you sure?"

Vendor (Parasyte): "Yep!"

Fiona: "Okay then."

Max: "What do you mean you're out?!"

Parasyte, Gwen, Ellie, and the girls turn their attention to Max as they heard him yell.

Max: "It's Squid City pierce signature dish!"

Squid Vendor: "Not anymore. The squid stands closing to make way for a new megaplex." (Points to a family of 3) "And it looks like those 3 got the last ones."
