"Devin?" I called out as I walked down the dark hallway of a hospital. There was no reply and I let out a soft sigh as I continued walking, looking into the rooms. There was no one there, I was literally alone. I heard a scraping from down the hallway and froze. Maybe I wasn't alone.
"Whose there?" I called, waiting for an answer that I knew would never come. I took a few steps towards the scraping sound. It was coming from inside a room. I looked behind me before pushing the door open. The scraping sound was coming from a wheel chair that was rolling back and forth slowly, as if someone had been sitting in it, rolling, and then got up quickly and left.
I walked over and placed my hands on the chair, stopping it. As it stopped, I heard a door from down the hall slam shut. I walked out of the room and stood in the hallway. "Seriously, whose there?!" I called.
"Why so scared, darling?" I heard a voice. It was a voice I didn't want to hear again. I turned and was looking at the face of Christopher Cerulli. He smiled down at me, his sharp fangs gleaming the light that came from the holes in the ceiling. I took a step back, moving away from him, with each step back, he stepped forward, following me.
"What are you doing here, Chris?" I asked, stepping away again. I was back against the wall. Chris was in front of me before I had a chance to move. I looked up at him as he placed an ice cold hand on the side of my face, turning my head towards the right. His head lowered and I shuttered when I felt his icy lips brush against my neck, giving me goosebumps.
"You're still as beautiful as you were before.." Chris whispered, placing a light kiss on my skin. I felt my heartbeat speed up. "Chris..stop...please..I don't want to be with you anymore...I love Devin." I said. Chris growled, one of his animalistic growls that always scared me. I screamed as he threw me to the ground and pinned himself on top of me.
"I WILL NOT LET DEVIN SOLA TAKE YOU FROM ME, KERSTIN!" Chris bellowed, his eyes glowing bright red, his fangs were exposed, ready to attack me. "I should have done this a long time ago, you would make a beautiful vampire queen, and I still need one." Chris hissed, his hand moving up my shirt. "I will never be your queen, I don't love you. I never did, I love Devin." I said. I whimpered when his hand connected with my face, the smell of blood was in the air now.
"You and Devin are in for some serious shit, if you think I was bad than, I just became your worse fucking nightmare, bitch." Chris hissed in my ear.
I woke up before he bit me.
~.~.~.~
I walked out of my room and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I had been having these nightmares for two weeks now. Each one seemed worse than the last. I hadn't told Devin or the other guys though, I didn't want to worry them.
I turned on the shower and let the water run as I undressed. I checked the temperature before getting in and let the hot water wash away my current nightmare. As I was washing my hair I heard the bathroom door open.
"Babe?" Devin's voice echoed over the running water.
"Hey. I'll be done in a minute." I said.
"The guys are headed over, I was just making sure you were awake." Devin said.
"I am. I'll be done after I get dressed." I said.
"Okay...hey, Kerstin?" Devin asked.
"Yeah?"
He hesitated for a moment. "Are you okay? I thought I heard you scream."
"I just had a bad dream." I said.
