"You have to do what and who said that?" Angelo asked me.
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration. I had been trying to tell him, Josh and Ryan for the past hour now what Ricky had said. At first when I said that I had spoken to Ricky, not only once but now twice, the three of them looked at me like I was crazy.
"Ricky said I need to marry Chris again." I said.
"Ricky's dead." Ryan said.
"I'm quite aware of that, Ryan. However, ghosts do exist." I said.
Josh sighed. "Is that the only way to really get rid of Chris?" he asked, twirling a piece of Ryan's hair around his finger. Ryan was leaning against him, running his fingers absentmindedly across Josh's thigh. It was cute, actually.
"That's what Ricky said." I replied, shrugging.
"Remember, this is Ricky. All of this seems sketchy. What if it's just a trick?" Angelo asked.
"Angelo has a point. What if Ricky is working with Chris, and we just don't know it." Ryan said.
I shook my head. "I don't think he is. Ricky hates Chris as much as we do." I said.
"Are you going to tell Devin?" Josh asked.
"Eventually.." I mumbled.
"That sounds like a no." Angelo said, chuckling. The other two boys chuckled and I glared at them.
"I will tell him when I feel like I'm ready." I said.
"So, what else did Ricky say?" Josh asked.
I shrugged. "Nothing really. He was just checking on me and you guys."
"How nice. He cares about us after he's dead." Angelo said.
"Who says I never cared about you guys when I was around?" Ricky's voice filled the room.
The three boys turned and saw their old friend and bandmate sitting on the windowsill. I smiled to myself, glad that Ricky had decided to make his presence known, at least now the guys wouldn't think I was going crazy.
Ricky hopped off the windowsill, walking over to stand by me. The three of them looked up at him, not saying anything. Ricky sighed, clasping his hands together. "Kerstin is right. She will have to attempt to marry Chris again to finally kill him."
"What if this backfires though?" Ryan asked.
Ricky looked down at him. "The only way it will backfire is if Chris, or one of his little bitch boys, mainly Kuza, tries to cause Kerstin to have an abortion or miscarry. This is where you three come in. I know you guys care about Kerstin, as much as Devin does, so you have to protect her. Watch out for her, especially if she's alone with Chris or Kuza." Ricky explained.
The three boys nodded. "Why are you helping us though?" Josh asked.
"Joshua, I never hated any of you. The only person I hated was Chris. I didn't even hate Kerstin." Ricky said, running a hand through his stringy black hair.
"But what about all those times you con-" I started. Ricky shook his head, cutting me off.
"That wasn't me. That was Chris. He made me out to be the bad guy, but it was him. He manipulated all of you." Ricky said.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted him." Ryan growled.
"You can't do anything now, Ryan. None of you can, except protecting Kerstin." Ricky explained.
Angelo stood up and looked at him. "We'll do our best."
Ricky smiled. "I never doubted you," he said. "Now, I'd like to speak to Kerstin alone."
