I woke up when I heard the front door slam shut and looked around, Devin was gone. This was strange, Devin never left in the middle of the night and this worried me. I threw the sheet off of myself and walked over to the door, looking around. His stuff was also gone which made this even worse. I opened the bedroom door and stepped out into the hallway.
It was then that I noiticed I wasn't in mine and Devin's house anymore. I was back in Chris'. Everything still looked the same. I walked down the stairs and through the bare living room. I entered the kitchen and noticed the basement door was opened slightly. I walked over and hesitated before going down.
As soon as I entered the dark basement I knew I wasn't alone. I knew someone was in there with me, I could feel their eyes on me. They were in the shadows and I knew they saw me there. I was too scared to move but not too scared to speak. "Who...whose there?" I asked. Okay, maybe I was a little scared to speak.
"Just us, dear." a voice said. I knew that voice. I whipped around as the light came on and I came face to face with Balz. "Balz?! What are you doing here?!" I asked, looking up at him. I studied his face. He was paler than usual, his eyes had dark circles around them. I took a step back as Balz moved, walking around me. "Chris brought me back." he hissed.
"Back? Why?" I asked. He stopped and placed his icy cold hands on my bare shoulders. I shivered and couldn't help the goosebumps that appeared. "He needs our help." Balz whispered. "What do you mean? Our?" I asked, my breathing increasing. "Mine and the guys...he needs our help to get back to you." he whispered, his lips brushing against my ear. I shrugged away from him, going to the stairs. "I'm not going back to him!" I said. Balz just smiled and I saw the light glistening off of his fangs.
I woke up suddenly and looked around, Devin was gone but his stuff was still there. I got up and ran over to the door, yanking it open. I relaxed when I heard Devin's voice and Angelo's and Ryan's. I calmed down and walked downstairs. The boys looked up at me when I walked into the kitchen.
"You okay?" Ryan asked.
"I had a nightmare." I said, sitting down.
"Again?" Devin asked, worry in his voice.
I nodded. "Balz was in it..." I said.
"What? What do you mean?" Angelo asked.
"He's...at Chris'..." I said, looking up.
"None of this makes sense.." Angelo said.
"What if Kerstin is right though? What if Balz is there?" Devin asked.
"So? How are we going to know unless we go to Chris'." Ryan said.
"Ryan, that's a great idea!" I said.
The three boys looked at me. "What?" I asked.
"You do remember what Chris did to you, right?" Angelo asked.
"Yes but he wouldn't try anything if we go during the day time, he'll be asleep." I said.
Devin sighed. "Do you want to go now?"
I nodded. "Please? I just want to check on Balz.."
I didn't tell them about him being a vampire again, if that was even true.

I went to take a shower and get dressed while the guys got ready downstairs. I finished my shower and was putting my clothes on when someone knocked on my door. I looked up to see Devin peeking his head in.
"Hi." I said.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked, walking over.
I nodded. "Of course. Why?"
