My eyes fluttered open as I looked around my room. The house was quiet, too quiet. I got out of bed and opened my bedroom door, looking out into the hallway. It was after ten, I knew Devin was gone to work. "Angelo?" I called, no answer.

I walked downstairs and looked around my living room. Something was wrong. Someone was in here. I heard movement in the kitchen and feared it might be Chris. I froze up and took a deep breath before walking into the kitchen. It wasn't Chris but if I was saying I wasn't surprised by who I saw, I'd be lying.

"Ricky?" I asked. He had his back to me but when I spoke his name, he turned around. A small smile formed on his face. "Hi Kerstin." he said. I couldn't believe it. Ricky was dead! We all watched him burn when the sun hit him. "What...what are you doing here?" I asked. Ricky let out a sigh and walked over, sitting down in one of my chairs.

"Sit down, I need to talk to you." Ricky said, pointing to one of the chairs. I sat down and looked at him. He seemed different now, well of course he was, he was dead. I wondered if he was still a vampire even in the after life, probably not. He looked the same though, he didn't even have burns from the sun. "What?" I asked.

"You're in danger, Kerstin. You and Devin...and the guys. Chris has found you and he has some friends with him. The man you saw in the park, he was trying to lure you back to Chris'. I'm glad you didn't go with him." he explained. "How do you know all this?" I asked. "I may be dead but I'm still attatched to Chris, even in death, I can feel what he's feeling. It's a pain in the ass." Ricky said, shaking his head.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked. "I'm trying to warn you." Ricky said, standing up. "Warn me from what?" I asked, looking at him. He walked over to the back door and looked back at me. "You're pregnant, Kerstin. I fear for your safety and the babies." Ricky said. He left the house after that.

I woke up suddenly, sweat forming on my forehead. I wiped it away and sat up, looking around my room. I heard the television on downstairs and got out of bed. I knew Devin was gone because his car keys were gone. I walked downstairs and saw Angelo sitting on the couch, a plate of chicken wings on his lap.

"Angelo." I said.

He looked up and smiled. "Hey sleepy head. I didn't want to wake you when I got here. Devin said you were asleep."

I sat down beside him, wondering if I should tell him about the dream I had. It was still bothering me. Angelo sensed it and looked at me, turning the t.v. off. "Okay, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." I said.

"Kerstin." he said.

"Do you remember anything from when you were a vampire?" I asked, looking at him.

"Of course, why?" Angelo asked.

"Do you remember all those times you hurt me?" I asked.

Angelo hesitated for a moment before answering. "Unfortuantly...I regret it, you know that."

"Were you and Devin ever together? You guys always acted like it...even though I never saw anything that would make me think you were." I said.

"No. I was really protective over him, I'm sure he told you the story of how he became a monster." Angelo said.

I nodded. "I never had feelings for him, I was just protective of him, he was and still is like a little brother to me."

I smiled. "That's cute, Angelo."

"Yeah, I try." Angelo said.

"I...had a dream...about Ricky.." I said.

"Ricky? Really?" Angelo asked.
