The aftermath of the murders of his wife and daughter has left a devastating impact upon Corey. He could not believe that Cat has killed them both. The blood from the attacks were splattered everywhere like spray-paint. He bent down on his knees and stared down at the floor. Tears filled his eyes and dripped out from his eyelids. Corey wiped the tears from his cheeks with his sleeve and slowly pulled himself up. The stains remains on the floor and the walls, now it's time, to clean up the mess.

So Corey proceeded to the kitchen to grab a cloth. He then soaked the material with bubbly substances and then squeezed a tiny patch of water out of the cloth. He then shortly returned to the front door where the incident has happened. As he got down on his knees to clean up the blood...

The television has turned on by itself. Corey dropped the cloth and rushed into the living room with an alarm clock armed in his hand. "COME OUT!" Corey exclaimed angrily, showing tears and sweat physically through his face. "YOU DESTROYED MY FUCKING FAMILY! I WILL SWEAR... ... YOU WILL PAY... YOU WILL PAY... YOU WILL PAY... YOU WILL FUCKING PAY!" He shrieked as he creeped around the room. Then, the next thing that happened was... The News.

"How odd..." Corey thought to himself as he went to turn off the t.v. Well... he tried to... anyway. The screen will not switch off, even when Corey has repeatedly turned the power button. It was like as it was under control from an invisible entity. Corey turned his back to the screen to see if Cat was watching.

But there was nothing there. Just him. Alone in the house. The silence was freaky like never before, like someone watching him... despite their absence. Then, a news reporter began to talk. Corey turned round to see him joined by a woman, an apparent "expert" on the disappearances of the recent people.  Corey took the remote and turned the volume up.

"It is such a devastating series of events. I suspect there is a source of terror linked to the absences of Max and Andrew. What this means, is someone has carried out this latest of attacks and insults on the families of the disappeared, through the activity of kidnap. The forces have been appealing anyone for information across the land, but sadly, with profound regret, I declare these two missing boys to be dead." the woman named, Catriona spoke. Then, along the screen, was the number for this woman, encouraging anyone with a traumatic past to speak to her. Corey took a quick photo with his phone and squinted hard at it.

ARTHUR'S PROSPECTIVE

Arthur was putting on the kettle. Sarah was finishing off her shift for the holidays. Arthur was relieved to discover it coincides with their wedding date. Nothing could ever be as perfect like this. As he got out the cups, the news was broadcasting. First, it was nonsense. But, in the second part, Catriona was speaking out regarding her declaration she announced earlier.

"I can understand the hurt and the pain this will inflict upon the families. Telling people like this isn't easy, especially concerning the facts there is someone out there who is severely connected to both of these tragedies. If anybody needs a chat, dial this number to arrange an appointment." the woman finished.

Arthur disposed of the news and went on to finish making the tea. The moment Sarah stepped foot through the door, Arthur rushed over towards her and kissed her on the cheek. "How was work?" He asked. "Very strange to be honest." Sarah replied. "What do you mean?" Arthur asked and looked up. "People were complaining about horrible smells emerging from the streets. Coinciding with the tales of the missing boys." Sarah added.

"I know. 2 in the space of a month. So tragic." Arthur spoke and got up and went to the kitchen sink and poured the rest of his drink down in it. "You didn't finish your tea." Sarah pointed. "I know... I'm just not feeling like drinking today." Arthur replied and returned to the sofa. "Is everything ok?" She asked. "...yeah, yeah. I'm doing fine. I just take that I'm probably really warm at the minute." Arthur replied maturely.
