The next day, Corey, Catriona and Arthur drove away from the community they had visited. Where they picked up the rose. There was a strong conversation live on the radio. Dull. Very boring.
Corey switched stations until he hit a slot that was playing music. It wasn't particularly pleasant, but it wasn't as terrible as his head would ever anticipate. Not that Corey himself is a fan of music. No. No. Personally, he believes it should be banned, and anyone who'd ever want to listen to it would have to pay $50.
They eventually all met up on a main road, with traffic passing by on their left. They zoomed past like the wind, with the sound of the cars shooting through their ears.
Suddenly, ahead of them, one of the lanes is blocked off.
They all pulled into the open one to proceed, in exchange for a longer travel duration. It felt like a tedious process.
The traffic gradually merged into one giant snake of cars.
10 minutes later, they all turned at a roundabout to proceed through a road to gain access to a local housing estate. As Corey drove through, he'd though he seen a suspicious individual looking out from behind the bushes. But he was too fast to slow down to stop.
Arthur went into a shopping area and parked his car. He'd saw Corey pass by and tried to wave his attention in, but Corey didn't see it. Catriona seen Arthur and went to turn in, but Arthur pointed to the direction where Corey was heading. She went on to follow where Corey was going. Arthur got back in his car and waited.
Then all of a sudden, Sarah knocked on Arthur's car window. He jumped out of his seat, almost looks like he is about to take a heart attack. He used one of the buttons on his car to pull down a window.
"S... Sar-- Sarah?" Arthur stuttered.
Sarah stood and looked straight towards him, smiling as they made eye contact. "How did... Where... How?" Arthur shouted anxiously as he was beginning to sweat already with half of it dripping off his chin and then splatted on his top.
"I forgot my bag. I left it by the store. But my knee is bleeding." Sarah said and rolled up her jeans. Arthur looked over to see a massive river of blood draining out of her leg.
"What... what happened there?" Arthur asked.
"I tripped and fell on a piece of rock. At first I thought I was fine, but... I should've seen it immediately." She spoke. "Do you not have any plasters?" Sarah asked kindly. "I'll go buy some in the shop. You just... you just hold on to the cut. I'll only be two minutes." Arthur said and got out of the car.
A couple of minutes later, Arthur returned. But this time, Sarah disappeared. "Sarah?" Arthur asked and put the box of plasters on top of the car.
"Sarah? Where did you go?" Arthur asked, slowly sounding nervous.
