He wants to protect the team...if he doesn't destroy we'll all be dusted by inbalance.
Nightmare sighed,rubbing his face with a disappointed hand.
He was too dense to realize it 6 minutes ago...and now Error was hiding in the antivoid.
'Maybe I should go apologize..?'Nightmare pondered.
He stood up from the end of his bed and made a dark swirling portal.
He could make out Error's huddled form on the floor of the antivoid..possibly crying,or sleeping.  He felt a twinge of regret.
The goopy skeleton slowly stepped through the portal,the destroyer lifted his head,not fully seeing who was there.
"Cross?" He guessed,quickly wiping his face.
"No..."Nightmare didnt like Cross and Error's closeness,he was a little jealous.
"Nightmare,what do you want."he grumbled,realizing who it was,his face was flushed yellow from anger and the crying he possibly did while nightmare wasn't there.
"I wanted to...apologize."Nightmare murmured,it was rare for a skeleton like him to do such a thing.
Error let out a chuckle.
"Your only apologizing because you dont like the way my negativity feels."He said,staring onto the white distance.
Nightmare felt worse at that comment,knowing is was true for most cases.
"I'm serious,Error."
"I was too dense to realize you were doing it to keep the AUs from falling apart."Nightmare said honestly.
Error lifted his head,a little taken aback.
"Yeah,its basically all falling on me y'know."Error stretched his arms over his head.
"Ink is always seen as a protector,but if I was wiped from existence ink wouldn't have anything to protect...I'm protecting the main AUs from getting dusted by destroying the smaller AUs,balance is key."

Nightmare rubbed the back of his neck,guiltily.
"Sorry about that."

"...dont worry about it."

                               [ERROR]
He apologized.
The dense rock finnaly apologized.
"Heh,you probably got it tough trying to keep a buncha idiots in check."Error admitted,seeing how Nightmare was constantly having to get on them about little things.
"You couldn't imagine."Error got a laugh out of the negativity god,something few managed to do,even getting him to crack a smile was hard.
"Wanna swap for a week?Error asked,half jokingly.
Nightmare's tentacled flicked thoughtfuly.
"Sure,I gotta stay in the anti void for that whole week?"Nightmare asked,still smirking.
Error didnt think he would be serious-
"Er..yeah,and you have to destroy at least one AU."Error added.
The two skeletons sat there for a moment,staring at eachother.
"Deal,good luck trying to control killer and horror!"Nightmare said,opening a portal and picking Error up.
"Ni-I-ightmare!!"Error glitched terribly,his face a brighter yellow.
The negativity god shoved the glitching destroyer in the portal,closing it hastily.
"Heh,poor guy didnt know what he signed up for."nightmare grinned,placing his hands on his hips.
He noticed the plume strings draping now from the ceiling,a few souls were tied up and knitting supplied layed on the floor.
"Does he only knit in here?" Nightmare murmured,noticing a blanket,scarf and a few knitted dolls laying about.
...
"What else would he do"Nightmare snickered,picking up a large spool of blue string and two knitting needles.
Nightmare had no idea how to knit,but he was going to try...s o m e h o w.
