The truth [12]

"I feel fine now,that green paint Ink used on me was really something."Nightmare grinned,oddly. 'Why does he always smile around me,he never does around the rest of the gang...' Error peered out at nightmare through a slit in the blanket with slight curiosity. "Nightmare..can i ask you something?"Error uncovered his head to meet Nightmares eyes with his own.

"..Yeah?"

"Well...i-How come you only ever smile around me?"Error fidgeted with his multicolored hands as Nightmare stared at him for a good moment.  "Because you make me feel..not alone." Nightmares smile faded to a warm smirk,his tentacles glowing faintly. Error frowned a bit,confusion visible. 

"Well what about everyone else here..? The whole squad?" Error tried to pull a more complex answer from Nightmare. The dark inky skeletons face flush with a faint teal "Its just...they see me as their boss,you on the other hand don't,"   "You stand out and i like being around you." Nightmare said,pulling Errors hands into his own with a look of hope. 

"Error,I like you."

Errors face turned yellow with embarrassment and he broke eye contact with Nightmare,his hands warm. "I don't know what to say to that Nightmare,why would you just up and say that???" Error asked with a dazed emotion crossing his face. There was a moment of silence between the two of them,a sort of tension but not a bad kind. Nightmare suddenly sighed heavily,flopping back on the mattress. "Don't worry about it...Sorry i put you on the spot like that." Nightmare smeared his hands across his face with glinting eye lights.

Error stared at Nightmare,feeling achy with the comment he had just said. "You really are impatient." Error grumbled,leaning over top of Nightmare and placing a kiss on the side of his head. "I don't want to hear another word from you,i'm going to bed." Error rolled over beside Nightmare and hid himself under a blanket with a sigh of relief. His soul tingled warmly with a suddenly different opinion of Nightmare. The black skeleton twisted around closer to the glitch,retreating under the covers with him.

"Get outta here,i was here first!"Error said with many glitches faltering his speech. The destroyer attempted to shove Nightmare away but almost instantly failed. "So what? I want a hug~" Nightmare hummed,wrapping Error in his tentacles and pulling him close. "Nightmare,we do NOT hug in bed...we SLEEP." Error said angrily,he half gave up his attempt at escape and resorted the just laying silently in Nightmares grasp.

Error hadn't realized he had fallen asleep until he actually had done so,the glitch woke up curled on the outside of Nightmares back,engulfed in the gods hardly glowing tentacles,to which he simply layed and enjoyed the rare contact between the two. He didn't know how things could twist around so fast but he wasn't opposed to it...the time he had spent with Nightmare always felt different when they were alone. It wasn't a bad different,it was almost like a gravity-less different. That was a feeling Error enjoyed.

"Hey..."Error wriggled,trying to pull himself from the sleep that was trying to take him down again. Nightmare stirred slightly making little noise in response. "I'm still sleeping,go back to bed"Nightmare spun around and hugged Error with closed eyes. Error froze,feeling a crash coming on,he pushed it down luckily,a shiver running down his back instead. "If i go back to bed i wont wake up till morning." Error grumbled,gently pushing away from Nightmares chest. Nightmare opened his eye and gave Error a sleepy glance. "That's how its supposed to work Error..." He kept the destroyer in the hug tightly. Error gave Nightmare a look that perfectly described his annoyance with the negativity gods comment.

"Nightmare i don't usually sleep this close to anyone,i CANT sleep."

"Just close your eyes..." Nightmare mumbled.

"Nightmareeee," Error struggled again this time with more effort. Nightmare huffed,sitting up slightly and grabbing Errors hand. "Do you really need me to help you fall asleep?"                             Error looked away with a flustered face as Nightmare gripped his hand. "...Do you?"

"I highly doubt you can help me." Error glitched in and out giving the negativity god a doubtful glance. "Ill show you." Nightmare lifted Errors hand to his face,observing it for a moment. Suddenly Nightmare bit down,in an odd gentle kind of way but still drawing blood.

"Ow! What the hell Nightmare?!"Error yanked his hand back with a grimace. "i'm not done yet Error,i have to lick the cut," Nightmare gently took the destroyers hand back into his own and licked it tender. Error shivered,he was genuinely surprised he wasn't sent into a reboot because of the dark skeletons sudden movements. "There" Nightmare smiled sleepily as Error eyed his hand warily. In a matter of moments Error was knocked out senselessly for the rest of the night.
