introductions and meetings - chp 4

Y/N was still walking around with XD while getting weird and confused stares.

XD showed his parent the main land, the hole left of L'manburg, Kinoko kingdom in which george saw them from afar but ultimately decided against confronting them. he was too afraid of confronting gods. XP was also shown the Badlands and Snowchester.

they snuck into Michael's house and XP was delighted with finally seeing a child. they teased XD saying how they remember when he was this small.

now next came las nevadas, they arrived and XP was showed the city. they liked the casino saying they very much liked the skill of gambling. it may not be necessarily useful for survival but it can certainly help at times. now as they were walking around almost done shouting came Quackity.

"AYE WHO ARE YOU" he shouted angrily while speed walking towards the two gods. the X 's stared in amusement, what foolish and fearless person dare approach gods? XD let Y/N's hand from their hand lock for walking around.

"I ASKED WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU" he yelled again while coming to the stop just in front of the two. XP looked to XD for an explanation. right after Quackity came slime.

"hey Quackity from las nevadas where are you going?!" he said in a cheerful tone jogging towards  Quackity before stopping beside him and noticing you two

"i am XD." XD said while Y/N stood staring at the two. Quackity glared daggers at the two especially Y/N who stared back. slime however had a blank stare directed at Y/N.

"call me XP" she took the hint

"i received complaints in the casino about you two" he said sternly while crossing his arms.

"oh? how so?" Y/N tilted their head. only acting oblivious. or are they? Quackity quietly groaned becoming more irritated

"your size caused some disturbances" he put on a murderous smile. XD crossed his arms, he has not time for this! he thinks though he has infinity

"i see" XP politely acknowledged and nodded. Quackity pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration

"we are just about to leave anyways." XD butts sternly in catching all the attention, wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible. he grabbed Y/N's hand and went out of the situation in speed of just somewhat faster than walking. Quackity sighed in relief the giant poeople went away but looked to slime noticing he was unusually quiet. his eyes shifted to his friend in silence and he spoke

"slime?"he questioned, getting the attention as charlie flinched, seeming to previously be in deep thought. slime turned his head towards quackity

"oh.. yes..?" he asked unsurely. Quackity furrowed his brows

"are you okay?" Quackity tilted his head " you seem kinda out of it" Charlies shoulders tensed up

"oh... uh.. they are just some.. "he said looking at the floor" old friends." Charlie continued with a small smile on his lips which made the gears in Quackity's head start overworking. Overworking from the thoughts of all the worries, possibilities, scenario's. He was worried now that charlie met his friends that he would leave him, that he would end up alone again. He also thought about on how he knew them. How did they meet? Is he happy to see some old friends? Why does he know those weird people? However the main thing he thought about was how Charlie would leave him, as said above.

(a/n: mmmmm.. abandonment issues. yumm :] )

A few drops of sweat dripped down his fore head as he smiled nervously, trying not to show his thoughts on his face.

He learned the hard way he cant have his heart on his sleeve.

(a/n:  a.k.a. cannot show your true emotions too easily, "We use the phrase "wear your heart on your sleeve" in a casual way to say that we are showing our intimate emotions in an honest and open manner.")

he gulped the apple growing in his throat

"o-oh! you know them..?" he asked and released Slime out of a daze again

"Yes Quackity from Las Nevadas! They are some old friends!" slime happily exclaimed. Sweat ran down Quackity's forehead as he fidgeted with his suspenders.

"o-oh?.. You knew someone before me?" Quackity shakely asked

"yea! We had really great times!" Charlie cracked a closed eye smile. Quackity still fidgeted with his suspenders, sweating and his heart beating rapidly.

Such a taunt to see him smiling at another person. He was so used to it to be him.

...

He looked up to them, they were taller so he had no choice. They sighed with a hand on their facewhich made him mervous.

"[RADICATED], are you sure? That you want to experience the human world?" their voice low, worried and slightly echo-y. I gave them a soft, reassuring smile.

"i am sure, [RADICATED], i am excited. To be honest." i chuckled to try to lessen the tension, in return they gave me a small frown and a worried expression. I widened my smile.

"i want to see how the mortals work, i hope you don't judge my decision.. " i looked down. Silence struck. I didnt notice tears prickling in their eyes.

"[RADICATED]," i looked up to them. Gosh, they were giant enough that when they kneeled a normal heighted person would not be bigger than their thigh. "i love you like my own child." they spoke softly, concern in their tone.

"i know, i think of you as a parent. Belive me i do. But i want to see the world." i spoke confidently, but also trying to not upset them.
"i want to see how mortals live, how they move and think!"  i continied. They said nothing in return but simply wore a small frown with a tear underneath one of their closed eyes.
