not the parent! - chp 5

XD showed their parent almost everything on the SMP, all but the cherry on top.

he was especially proud of a temple dedicated to himself made by foolish. Because the temple, or is it shrine..? was on the lands of Las Nevadas, he planned to show that last and by now, it was early evening. but they didn't fasten their steps, they had all the time.

XD made an effort to chitchat on the way but failed because you were holding almost the entire conversation asking a lot of questions; 'who's Niki?' , 'what is a Tubbo?'.

you were also asking about charlie. you knew XD wasn't particularly too fond of him, but because of you he had to endure it. they were like brothers, no doubt. both green and mysterious.

after the painful small talk, you arrived at Foolish's residence your mouth gaped at the builds.

"oh wow!" you exclaimed letting go of XD's arm and walking around looking at everything. the thing that made you stop and stare is a gigantic statue of XD. the man in question was behind yourself grinning proudly

"i got myself a new worshiper!" he stated proudly as you turned to him with a proud smile on your face. You went up to him and cupped his cheeky with your hands and started placing aggressive kisses on his head while he screeched and wriggled around in protest.

you pulled your face away, still cupping his cheeks with a very proud and wide smile

"oh dear!! im SO proud of you!" you semi-yelled as XD's mouth softly curved into a smirk

"that makes two!! One day, oh one day! you'll have so many more worshipers than me!" you swayed proudly. You  threw yourself at your son into a giant tight hug which he melted into your arms like a giant cat.

"oh my little baby kid grew up!" you slowly pulled away from the hug, much to his sadness, wiping tears prickling at your eyes.

you both turn your heads immediately to the direction of a 'ahem' noise. There stood foolish, in the golden flesh. you tilted your head.

"who might you be?" you asked foolish, to which he seemed a bit shocked to hear the question. XD sighed looking at the floor

"you have memory problems, pam. you met him before already." XD spoke in a slightly sad tone while putting a hand on your shoulder as some kind of support.

"you're getting old, old gran-po" he smirked, trying to lift up the mood. you furrowed your eyebrows at him and began to playfully hit while yelling of disagreements at him while he laughed.

Foolish just kinda stood as the odd one out. You were all gods,  yet he still felt left out. he felt small uneasiness in his stomach. you stopped joking with XD after you sad Foolish looking down at the floor, as a parent, you went to  him and cupped his cheek too making him look at you in surprise.

"are you okay dear? you seem down " you asked worriedly with a frown at his widened eyes. he fidgeted at his nails. XD crossed his arms and huffed

"y-yeah..? im fine." he nervously replied.

"are you sure hunny? you seem kinda pale" you put your hands down and asked, still a bit worried. you couldn't help it, it was your parental instincts! Foolish's heart was beating too hard,  like it was trying to escape his chest.

"goddamn it pam, you're not the parent of every person you see in distress!" XD semi-yelled causing you to turn to him with your brows furrowed. you crossed your arms

"well i'm not sorry! i can't help it!" you defended sassily causing XD to put his hand on his face in disappointment. Foolish just stood nervously, witnessing bickering of gods.
