Salvaging Light

Arceus began to glow and unleashed a blast from its head that exploded into several pillars of light. "That's Judgement! Look out!" Marshadow shouted.

Charizard use Flamethrower! Red's Pokémon flew at the impeding attacks and countered them with his fire.

Gold sent out his team and climbed onto Raikou's back. Ho-Oh took to the skies and started launching flames across the sky and into the beast towering before them all. "Here we go everyone! Raikou let's hit them with Thunder and get in close!" Raikou sped off. As it did, a bolt of lightning rippled across the sky and into Arceus.

Selene flew past him aboard Nebby, while Necrozma trailed behind her. "We need to damage it a lot before Necrozma can vanquish the Shadow! Be careful!"

Gold gave her a thumbs up and turned his attention to the deity before them. Arceus was about to attack the approaching Pokémon, but Giratina flew up to it and hit it with a close range Aura Sphere.

That seemed to anger Arceus, and its focus turned to Giratina. Dozens of purple spheres rocketed from around Arceus and into Giratina.

The attack was interrupted by a Reuniclus and Marshadow teleporting above Arceus. They brought the Zangoose and the Electabuzz wielding a Doublade up with them.

The three Pokémon fell down and the two blades slashed Arceus's head while the Zangoose jammed his claws into it. A massive psychic wave blew into Arceus and Marshadow flew down and punched it in the face.

Solgaleo then rammed into Arceus head on, while Necrozma and Lunala blasted it with beams from afar.

Arceus shrieked and sent off a barrage of Draco Meteors. The projectiles started to fall through the air and several Pokémon jumped up to counter them.

May's Mega Blaziken, Brendan's Sceptile, and Lisia's Mega Altaria all focused an attack on one of the impending meteors and sent them back.

Bill's Dragonite grabbed two and tossed them at the powerful being. Daisy's Aerodactyl rammed into one head-on while her Venomoth grabbed another with Psychic and both were also returned to their sender.

"Blue Flare!"

"Water Shuriken!"

Two new voices cut through the chaos. Rosa, Drake, and their Pokémon arrived at the scene. Each Pokémon repelled one of the incoming moves.

Cynthia's Garchomp obliterated the remaining meteors with a powerful Dragon Rush. All of meteors slammed into Arceus, and Entei and Suicune blasted it from either side with powerful moves.

A beam charged in Arceus's mouth and it unleashed the golden blast onto the field. Andy's Dracovish sped into the impending attack and somehow completely repelled it. "Alright, everyone! Do your things now! It's wide open!"

A Hyper Beam and Thunder from Alex and Jess's Pokémon struck Arceus first. This was followed by Marshadow transporting Wally's Mega Gallade onto Arceus's back.

The Pokémon ran across the beast with extreme swiftness, slicing and striking it in several spots before jumping off to safety.

The successive attacks continued when the Zangoose, Heatmor, Durant, and Seviper all appeared in front of the Pokémon and struck it with a slash, punch, bite, and stab. The attacks seemed to have a glow to them, and they packed an extra punch.

Gold couldn't help but grin as it was his turn to lay on the damage. "Everyone! Attack with us!" His Pokémon sprung into action as Raikou sparked with electricity.

A blast of Thunder came from Electabuzz while Heracross flew in and carried Weavile in his arms. Heracross threw Weavile at Arceus while he punched the Pokémon several times. Weavile slammed his Night Slash into the foe and then rejoined Heracross where they retreated.
