I was awake all night, my eye lids abruptly drooped when I didn't notice how sleepy I was. They flew open the moment I remembered how I ran away from home with a male human, without my sister, the most respected and perfect faerie's permission.

I couldn't trust him, I thought, even though he looked harmless.

The birds tweeted from the outside of the cave, snakes and serpents hissing their mothers good morning.

As I awoke my eyes noticing the beauty of our little alcove, if I didn't meet him, I wouldn't even knew this was here. The tiny green shrubs grew across the deep rock, giving it a flora design of charm, with a twist of my left hand they all bloomed into pink little rose gold flowers.

The brightly glistening sunlight bounced off the leaves into his presence. The first thing I saw was his skin, and faint brown eyes, squinting and getting brighter in shock as I touched his frizzy hair. His arched eyebrows flew up the moment he caught me gaping at him. I immediately followed the directions as I admired the handsome vitality such creature had.

As he stared into my green ones, I swallowed, my hands lowering to his throat.

"What's this"? I asked curious as I touched the bulky-looking thing inside his neck. His mouth slowly fell open as I tripped and landed on his body, our skin slightly brushing against each other. His brown pupils dilated in mine, for what seemed like a very long moment.

"What a sweet human being"? I thought as I tap the top of his head. My mind changed immediately as he knocked my hands away.

"What do you think you're doing"? He asked tripping over his words, his cheeks flaming rosy.

"Nothing"! I said as I grabbed his white striped shirt from the hook , throwing it to him he gasped as he pulled it on.

"Do you have a name"? I asked moving closer to his face, so close our noses were touching, examining every aspect of this creature called human. He took a deep breath in, his golden eyes blazing into mine at how close we were. I then felt a feeling, like my heart was running away from him again.

Esme lifted his chin, "Do you have a name"? she demanded serious, he then shyed away, wondering what a question was that.

Ahhh...yea, maybe..um..do you?

"Esme"! She said sticking her leafy printed tattooy hands out. His eyes scanned them in shock, gently observing the patterns. The tattoos soom disappeared immediately.

She looked at him in surprise, waiting for him to introduce himself. She then smacked him.

"Jodin", call me Jodin.

Johin! she whispered...no Jodin? he asserted trying to explain the pronunciation of his name.

So! Johin? remind me of how you got here? You know this is a very dangerous place.

He continued to go through his things.

"Dangerous", not that I thought of and it's Jodin, not Johin.

"Ok Johin"! come with me, you have a lot to learn about. Taking a small teapot from her satchel, Esme boiled some Polka and Rokige herbs, she then gave it to him with pleasure.

This is the fae's realm, you've seem to wandered off too far and maybe have cross the border.... or went to a special place.

"I have"? Jodin asked as he lifted the tea cup to his mouth. As the darkish greenish substance hit his taste buds, he immediately spat it out.

"How dare you"? She whispered

"What is this"? Jodin asked looking sick.

She answered slightly without a sign of remorse.

"Polka and Rokige herbs"! These plant are rare medicine.

She continued–

Humans have been evil for the past 500 years, that's why those fae's we're after you. She paused and walked over to him.

What're you? some...some explorer, that came to find the hidden green gem; if so I think you should give up.

Your not the only human that have crossed the border, and each and every one had failed. His eyes twinkled in surprise.

"Did you say hidden green gem"? Jodin asked as he brushed a hair from his face.

"Well, the Emerald seed to be specific.

Where did you learn all that stuff? He asked.

"Books"! inclining toward the history of humans, and I know just where you can find them, without getting killed of course.

"Where"? he asked happy. Jodin grabbed his grayish side bag, taking out a huge map and some papers he hauled out the smallest one.

Here take a look, I've completed all the sequences all I need is just your directions. Latching the bag around him, he ran through the opening of the cave.

"Not another step"!

With the movement of the eye, a huge  green vine pulled him back.

"Not so fast human boy, you got to do what I say first.

He paused as he saw the plant around him. He then looked at me, Oh of course, anything?

Are you sure? she questioned deeply

Yeah, but if you want to sacrifice me, I'll say no to that. She punched him in the shoulder, sacrifice your hilarious.

Esme finally prepared to say what she had been wanting to say forever.

I...want you, to take me to the human world

"What"?

Oh no, I cant do that

She glanced at him, with one shift of her finger he books fell to the ground and closed landing right back on a shelf.

Okay, suit yourself, say good bye to the  green jem.

Wait, Okay I'll do it he said

"But how"? If i don't even know where I am.

You have a map dummy, I know where the border is, all you need to do is direct me from there.
