Another sleepless night for Michael, as he walked through the house there's a notice from his father who commands him to the medicine, he has given to the family to help make sure they're all able to sleep properly after Elizabeth's death in November-November right? Michael looks up at the ceiling before finding his eyes slowly dragging themselves over to the calendar on his walls with a yearning for the date.

Had it really been it really been 4 months since his sister died? Michael sits up, planting his palms in the fitted sheets on his bed with a need for support, slowly dragging his lower body over to the edges of his bed and lifting himself up on his feet before finding his knees buckle by the weight.

When was the last time I got out of bed?

There's a sudden realization that a couple of months have passed, now winter that is slowly fading out in anticipation for spring. February slowly encasing him, his mother birthday being this month and the thought of celebrating it acting against the deep depression that dug this family into a 6'0 hole.

Michael would be awake at 7 AM where he'd be finishing up his breakfast whilst he leaned against the doorway leading into his home. Michael's mother would be out grocery shopping and his father would be leaving the house soon after Michael and Evan would be heading off to school.

Michael decided to try and think about the interaction with you since the first day of school year and the other awkward moments that had continued ever since then. Hell, Michael couldn't even find himself being alone with you for a good 30 seconds! As soon as the two of you would begin to talk, Angelino, Cherri, Christopher, or any other person would butt in as quickly as possible to make sure the two of you could only look at each other wondering on what to say before the two of you were pulled apart from one another.

Though, Michael thought about what he would even say to you when the time came. I mean, honestly, Michael couldn't even think about if you ever wanted to talk to him after all the ways he's treated you. All his worries began to become greater as he thinks back on freshman year with the look on your face, it felt better that he would just try to keep his distance and be the way he was with you before due to how the two of you interacted.

Michael began to think of you a lot more often than he should've been thinking of someone that he would tell his friends that he's not totally in love with. Telling them that Angelino would be burdening the group with your existence, the brothers just ignoring it and inviting you over regardless, Christopher just acknowledging you and Cherri just ignoring your existence.

What would Michael do?

Obviously, he'd insult you.

Whenever Michael got the chance, he'd say the opposite of what he was thinking and just blurt it out whenever you were around.  Infatuation was the true word on Michael's mind.  A call out of an embarrassing nickname he'd give you, or a sly comment on your appearance, or a dismissive look when you spoke about something.

It was Michael felt that he needed to do for this situation.

A crude nickname to distract him from his thoughts of your looks that brought him to tears of your ethereal appearance, scoffing whenever you talked causing you to speak louder just to make him mad only allowed him to bask in the symphony of your voice, and the way he would just stare at you and use a quick insult to say that your 'ugliness' had become more and more apparent to him over the years.

Far from the truth though, Michael thought you were as captivating as you were the first time he laid his eyes on you, with age you had only grown as graceful as a swan.

The teen would quickly call out for his younger sibling before he made his way over to the kitchen to grab his things. Michael took out the heart-shaped box of chocolates that was a dark rose-red color with a pink ribbon placed on top for authenticity. Michael then reached for the bouquet of colorful flowers; they were a brightly mixed bundle of many true beauties.
