Adora was a sweet little kid. She had hair as blonde as honey, always tied up in a high ponytail with a little poof at the top. She had blue-grey eyes the changed colour depending to the season. She lived in house number 69, with her mom, dad, and brother adam. They were a cute little family.

Catra was a little kid, but maybe not as sweet and kind as adora... who can blame her though?
She had dark brown wild hair spiking in every direction, and heterochromic eyes that shot a stare that was my so easy get lost in. She lived three houses away from adora, on house 72, with her mom and dad.

The two girls always played together in the street. The rest of the street was filled with creepy old men and cat ladies, so there was no other kids on the street. Usually they'd ride their bikes around the road, draw with chalk, ding dong ditch and do everything that normal kids would do. But sometimes, when they were having problems with their family, they'd go to the others house and talk about it in the back yard. They were to young to actually know how to help eachother, so they mainly quoted what was said on tv shows watched through their cheap "vintage" TVs.

They also went to school together, at an ugly looking elementary school called "horde elementary." Horde city was a lot smaller than most cities would be called. Small enough to be called a "village" by some of the old cat ladies. Most of the kids in horde city attended Horde Elementary, but in third grade and up, the kids took a test to see if they were considered gifted, and the gifted kids had the option to attend a school all the way in bright moon. Some kids took the 3 hour long train there everyday, while others simply just moved to bright moon.

Since Catra and Adora were only in first grade, they had to take the bus to school. The bus was one of the worst places ever. It smelt like mold, cigarettes, and nessa barret sharts; and you could find what the girls called "white sand" sprinkled all over the floors and seats.

The windows to the bus were broken and had holes in them, one of which may have been caused by catra.

Even though the bus was a nightmare, the people on it weren't. They had two other friends named Lonnie and Kyle, who were close to both Adora and Catra, but a little bit more close to Adora, making Catra jealous at times. The four often played games on the bus, like tic tac toe, arm wrestling, truth or dare, word association, and two truths one lie.

Adora and Catra always guessed the correct lie whenever the other was going, I mean... how could the not? They've known each-other since birth.

At school during recess, Catra and Adora occasionally played with Kyle and Lonnie, but mainly just played as the two of them; that's how they liked it. They have the kind of friendship that most teenagers would be jealous of if they payed attention to it. They barely ever fought, Always had each others backs, weren't "popular" but weren't "loners" either. They were so different, practically polar opposites, but it was kind of in a good way. If there was only one Oreo left, Adora got the cookie part and Catra got the cream. If they weren't polar opposites, they probably would have fought over the cream (damn)

They were grateful that their diversity in personality traits helped them a lot. Catra was very impulsive, and never thought before taking action. Meanwhile Adora was an overthinker, she had to think of every possible outcome before doing something. When they're together, it's a perfect balance.

Hey!! Author here! This was just an introductory chapter so it was quite short, but I'm going to aim for the other chapters to have at least a thousand words :)

Please tell me your thoughts on it so far.
