Lily Evans ♡ Y/n II

"So how was your sixth year at Hogwarts?" I asked.

"Neither bad nor good" Lily said sitting up on my bed.

"Why is that?"

"There is this boy, y/n. Never stops following me around. I even hexed him a few times. He just can't get the hint. So annoying" she said.

"Aww you got yourself a boyfriend? That's so sweet Lily" I said the next thing I saw was her pillow that was flying right towards my face.

"What the hell that was for?" I growled.

"For pretending that you are not my girlfriend" she said.

"Yeah, yeah. Like you would know if I had another girl, or a sidechick back at my school" I smirked mischievously.

She leaned in, " Oh, don't you dare underestimate me. I will break every fucking bone of any girl that wants no- even thinks about going near you. Trust me, my love" her threatening voice send chills down my spine and aroused me at the same time.

"Oh my god, Lily that was so hot! Do it again!" I gasped.

"Yeah, that's how I know that no one else would tolerate your craziness other than me" she shrugged satisfied grin on her face.

" Damn girl!" 

"So anyway, y/n. I was thinking about my career recently. You know I am graduating from Hogwarts next year" 

I sat up, excited to hear what she chose. She used to tell me that she either want to work at the Ministry of magic or becoming a teacher at Hogwarts. She admired her transfiguration teacher so much. She idolized her.  But, I kept quiet, not wanting to influence her decision. 

"What do you think about me becoming a healer?" 

"Healer? Like a doctor?" I asked. Lily nodded waiting for my opinion. "Do you want to be a healer, Lily?" I pulled her onto my lap, not breaking our eye contact.

"Yeah. Healers get to help people. And also, I can learn new things everyday" she beamed.

"Then go ahead. I am happy as long as you are" I planted a delicate kiss on her shoulders, which I knew she loves.

"There is a magic hospital called St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. They operate a work experience program for seventh year students at Hogwarts. Whoever wishes to become a healer after their graduation can give it a try" she said.

"You should try it out, babe. I bet you are going to excel in it" I stroked her cheeks. "Where is this hospital?" 

"London."

"So, you will move there?"

"Nope. I can apparate the in a second"

"Apparate?" 

"Teleport, like.... this" the next second my arms that was wrapped around her waist felt empty. She was standing by the window, giggling at my confused reaction.

"Lily! How did you do that? So cool!" I exclaimed.

Lily squeezed my hand in hers as we both walked up to our parents who were siting on Lily's dining table, probably talking about some grown up stuff. Yeah I know I am 19 and I am an adult. But no, I do not get involved in their boring conversations about politics. 

" Mum , dad" we both got our parents attention. 

"Hey, Lily. How are you? How is your boarding school going? Sorry I was busy yesterday." My dad said, sipping his hot tea.

Lily got back from Hogwarts yesterday. Now that we both had finished our educations we decided that we shall tell our parents about our relationship. The difficult part about this was that none of them knew that we liked girls. So this is actually introducing girlfriends plus coming out to parents. I felt my heart beat accelerate.

"Y/n? Are you okay honey?" Mrs.Evans asked noticing my blank face.

"We have something to tell you" Lily started. I mustered up courage to continue her words. " Lily and I are not just friends like you all think. We- We are--- I am her girlfriend" I blurted out like ripping off a band aid.

"Oh, Y/n , Lily " said my mum. "Would you two come here?" she said, opening her arms. We walked to her, and hugged her. " We know how much you two mean to each other. We are proud that you told us" she said.

"And, We somehow knew you two would end up together" Said Lily's dad.

"you did?"

"Yeah, two girls who would not leave each others side? Watches the sunset together? Cries everytime they meet on summer holidays? They are bestfriends" my dad joked.

Soon enough they were asking about how we got together and how long and other stuff. But Lily and I constantly exchanged smiles, as we were content that our families accepted us.
