"Yerim.."

"Heya my dear Hyeju~" Yerim responded in the most bubbly manner.

"Yerim~" I couldn't believe my eyes, seeing her here unexpectedly is so.. heartwarming.

"Aww Hyeju~ You didn't expect me to be here right?"

"Yeah no shot, I missed you."

"Come on, give me a hugg!" Yerim said as she spreads her arms

I ran towards her and hugged her so tight.

"How are you doing Hye? Why did it look like you were all gloomy?" she asked in a worrying face.

"Oh, well. Something happened, nothing much but I'm fine." I answered the best that I can.

"Want to talk about it?" she offered

"Sure."

Yerim has been my friend ever since we were kids. We both were in an orphanage and were roommates for many years. But unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to her since someone offered a foster family for me.

I was happy yet sad thinking that I was not able to see Yerim ever. Having to bid her a goodbye as I saw her crying from afar.

When I got to my official foster family, I had a mom, dad and one big sister. They were so nice to me and treated me like a family.

One day, they had to enroll me to a school for me to start off my journey. Thinking that it will all go well.

But I was wrong.

People started spreading fake rumors about how much of a bitch I was. I didn't really care about it back then but the fact that they started to make fun of me physically, hurts me.

Why were they doing this to me?

*FLASHBACK*

Hyeju POV

Finally, first day in an all girls high school. I wonder what this feels like.

I got into the school front door and was finding my locker to grab my books. When I found it, I grabbed my books and went into my first class.

I sat down at the back seat since it's the only seat available and saw all the girls communicating at each other while I'm here having no one to talk to.

The teacher went in the room and the class went silent.

"Okay class, I'm glad to see all of you here. And welcome to those new students who planned to school here. I hope you all will have a great first day." the students applaud and cheered.

"Now to start off for today, I would want you to grab a piece of paper to write these requirements down."

I took the paper in my bag and put it on my desk. I grabbed my pencil case below the desk and looked up to see the board.

But something distracted me.

I saw a girl sticking a paper behind the other girl's back and laughed it off. I saw what it said on the paper so I have to let the teacher know.

I raised my hand.

"Yes?" the teacher noticed.

"This girl pasted a paper behind this other girl's back." I pointed at both of the girls as I complained.

"What?!" the girl who did it complained.

"What does it say miss Hyeju?" the teacher asked.

"It says.. 'dumbass'" I answered
