Chaewon POV
"I don't wanna keep this."
It's literally 6am yet I'm still staring at the gift that Hyeju bought for that girl for hours and thinking if I should keep it or not.
"ARGH- She's probably still finding it til now, but I don't wanna go back to the café after what I saw yesterday.. And also what happened between me and Yves."
"And be sure.. To talk her out of it."
"Yves said those words to me but how? Oh my fucking god! Why am I stressing over little things" I slammed my face on the pillow and screamed.
"What is going on here?" my mom suddenly opened the door and saw me fall flat on the bed.
"Mom?! Jesus you scared me." I immediately sat on the bed acting normal.
"What is that? Did you use your money on that? That thing is pretty expensive." my mom looked at the Hyeju's gift bag and showed a disappointing face.
"What? No! Someone uhm.. gave this to me.." I lied without thinking about it properly.
"A gift? From your boyfriend?" she raised an eyebrow
"No! You know that I broke up with him." Well.. He broke up with me but I mean.. I have to show my feisty side to my family too.
"Good. That guy was a no good." she snobbed as she thought about him, "so where did you get that from?" she asked again.
"From a friend mom. Now leave me alone."
"Okay, okay. Breakfast is ready." my mom then closed the door.
"Why did I lie.. Okay I'm gonna lowkey give this back to Hyeju. I have to go to the café as early as I can." I left my room and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
Okay this is enough.
After eating breakfast, I readied myself to go to the café. For them not to notice me, I have to wear something that would hide my face.
I saw a cap in my closet and a mask in my drawer. I wore those and checked if it looks alright.
"It looks fine.. But I look rather suspicious. I should also wear my anti rad glasses."
"Perfect."
I ran outside my room and went out of the house. It's still early, usually they go to work around 8 or 9am.
I immediately went in the café and notice no Hyeju and no Yves. So my cost is clear. I have to sit down somewhere where I get to hear them conversing. So I sat a little bit close to the cashier and ordered first for Yves not to order for me.
I waited.. And waited. Until Yves got here early. She didn't look like her usual self but still continued to show her smile for the customers.
I immediately grabbed my book as props and use it to act as if I'm reading.
I drank my drink and heard the front door open, I saw that it was Hyeju. I was waiting for a friendly approach from Yves to Hyeju but realized she didn't do it.
