Bruno pressed his forehead against mine as we attempted to control our breathing. The blissful feeling he bestowed on me settled its glow within my heart. When I finally opened my eyes, I found that Bruno's cheeks had been stained with tears. I leaned my head a little and placed a soft kiss on the tip of his nose. His mint chocolate orbs slowly flutter open as a few extra trapped tears spilled forth. He leaned back, looked me over, and a small smile tugged at his tired features. His hand came up to cup my face as his thumb gently brushed at the wetness that had spilled over my cheeks as well. My lips formed the words, but my voice refused to work. Bruno pressed his lips to mine with such tenderness that it pulled a few more tears from me. His voice didn't fair much better as it broke a little when he responded, "I love you too, mí vida." I could tell he didn't want to move but the position we were in didn't lend much to comfort. "I didn't hurt you, did I?" I shook my head and cleared my throat.

"Quite the opposite." He chuckled and pulled back from me looking down at the rumpled mess that we had become. He grabbed at the waist line of his pants so they wouldn't fall down as he tucked himself away.

"We should probably get cleaned up." I nodded in agreement and pushed myself off from the door. My legs still felt like jelly as I steadied myself. Bruno stayed by my side to make sure I wouldnt fall over as we walked to the bathroom. He turned on the tap to my small bath tub and put the plug into the drain. He turned to me and with gentle fingers, dipped them under the hem of my skirts and slid them down to the floor. He traced lines back up my skin before lifting my blouse up. I put my arms up over my head and he slipped the fabric up and off, letting it fall in a pile with my skirts. I kept my eyes on his face as he focused on undoing the buttons of my undershirt. As he slid the fabric off my shoulders and I stood bare to him, his eyes scanned over me like he hadn't seen me naked for him multiple times already.

I reached my hands up to the large green fabric over his shoulders and lifted it until his head slipped out of it and I dropped it near my clothing. Bruno watched my fingers as they slipped each button free on his shirt and slid it off his shoulders revealing his thin, toned frame. His black rosary beads hung against his chest and I let him take that one off. He reached up to pull it up and over his head, and set it on the side of the sink as I slipped the clasp on his breeches open to slide them down to the floor. I couldn't help myself as I traced my fingers up over his hips. Bruno's hand laid against my waist as his other pulled the pin out of my hair to let it fall down my back. He placed a kiss to my forehead before turning to the tub and twisting the knobs on the tap, halting the flow of water.

Bruno stepped into the tub and held his hand out to me. Taking his hand in mine I stepped in too. He sat down and spread his legs against the sides of the tub to give me some space. I sat so my hips were nestled between his thighs and layed back against his chest. Though the tub was small, we still made it work. I pulled my legs up a little and let them lay against the side of his right leg. I breathed a sigh of comfort when Bruno wrapped his right arm down over my shoulder and across my chest so his hand could hold my left side. I felt his stubble on my scalp as he rested against the top of my head and I melted into his form. "Bruno?"

"Hmm? What do you need, mí amor?" His fingers traced small circles into my side as we laid there in the hot water.

"Can you stop time? I dont want this monent to end." I had closed my eyes and had my head against his chest. Sighing, I listened to his heart beating just beneath me. A small chuckle reverberated through his ribs.

"If I could, I would make this moment last forever." I felt his lips place a kiss on the top of my head. "Thankfully we have a few extra hours before we need to be back at Casita." I hummed in agreement as I peeked open an eye to look out of the slats of the window shutters. The warmth of the water mixed with the gentle rhythm of Bruno's heartbeat and breathing was soothing.
