The young boy, miraculously saved from the dangers of Eren's opening attack, stares at the battle taking place. Five Titans, flying soldiers...and one of those Titans is holding a crystal while being trapped himself. "That's...no way. Mr. Kruger? No, Eren Jaeger...how dare you! You deceived me…" Falco turns away, analyzing the ruins of the residential building that fell upon him. But he searches for only one person in particular, and finds him inside the armored cocoon that saved them both. "Deputy Chief Braun!" Reiner's body is a mess. Only his upper body is present, either rest either gone or a mess of muscles. "So at that time…you nobly sacrificed your body for me… Deputy Chief! I'm sorry, it's my fault." He touches Reiner's heart, feeling his heartbeat, and sighs in relief. "He's alive...but unconscious. With the power of the Titans, the injured body parts should repair itself of its own accord. But that's only if you have a strong will to live..."
"Please kill me…"
"This is...no way…"
"I just want to disappear…"
"Deputy Chief! I'll call for help! The ones outside are not just enemies! There's me and Gabi and...and everyone else. Aren't we your comrades?"
“Protect the war chief’s rear,” Pieck commands as one of the Panzer unit gunners obliterates two enemy soldiers trying to assassinate Zeke. Another one tries to get around Pieck from above, only for Galliard to swipe that soldier.
“Be careful,” Galliard warns as he rises out of his Titan temporarily. “I’m not sure where Ackermann is! He’s hiding somewhere!”
“Are you serious… Porco! The Warhammer!” The pair, along with Zeke, watch as the crystal protecting Lady Tyber is bitten down by the Attack Titan, but with more damage sustained to the trapped enemy’s mouth than to his potential meal. Jaeger then exits his Titan, creating another one before he reaches the ground.
“Shit! After all that, the bastard still has more fight in him? But if we get him, the Founder…”
“What are you afraid of, Pock? There’s no need for us to rush. We’re the ones controlling the battlefield. They’re being driven into a corner. They came here in ODM gear, so their weapons and fuel are limited. In other words, they’re stranded in enemy territory without air support. The Marley army has surrounded the zone by now, so there’s no escape. For starters, Paradis can’t compete with Marley in a real war anyways.”
“But if we take out the Founder right here and now, they can’t do the rumbling! Their trump card is right in front of us.”
“All the more reason to move cautiously! Right now, just focus on protecting the war chief from Ackermann. He’s not the only deadly weapon they have that is just a human, after all. There’s still the other Ackermann...and the boy who took out and nearly killed Reiner.”
“That’s Pieck for you,” Zeke says as his hands crumble debris in them. “Precisely!” He throws his payload, creating a cloud of debris and screams from the forces of Paradis. “Eren Jaeger...is not my enemy. Someone else comes first. Show yourself, Levi. You’re running out of time.”

Running away, Falco takes care to avoid the carnage around him by circling the perimeter of the square, luckily avoiding Zeke's volley attack. "War Chief Zeke… He's amazing. As I thought, he's overwhelming--"
"Grice!" Falco turns around as he's approached by Captain Magath. "What are you doing? Are you injured?"
"N-No!"
"Then hurry up and get away from here!"
"But Deputy Chief Braun is inside the plaza! He's underground in a state where he's immobile!"
