Going Too Far...

Next day....

Lilly
I sat down sipping nervously on my coffee, wondering if Jennifer is ok as she has been very quiet since the events that happened at the fashion show. She went off to work, early this morning so it's just me at home, by myself. To be honest, I don't feel like seeing anybody.

Adrien
I've been thinking about it all night and decided I'm going to talk to Jennifer and help resolve the grudge she has against our father. It's just that, I want my family to all get along, and if Jennifer is going to keep pointing father out and fighting with him, it's just going to make it harder for us to spend time together.

I began to get dressed and ready for the day, deciding I'll talk to her in person after school.

Timeskip....

Now it's time to talk to Jennifer. I'm going to stop by at her home and pay her a visit, hopefully she's in.

Knock, knock.

The door opens and to my surprise it wasn't Jennifer but instead her mum, Lilly Prescott. "Can I help you, kid?" She said sounding a little annoyed by my presence.

"Hi, Lilly right? It's me, Adrien you probably haven't met me but I'm Gabriel's son." I said awkwardly, "oh I know who you are, but however what are you doing here?" She responded.

"I have come to talk to Jennifer, about our father. In hopes of sorting out the issues," I said seeing she really didn't want me here. "Well I hate to break it to you, but she's not here. But at work," She said.

"Do you know when she'll back? Look it's just that I really need to talk to her," I said feeling like I shouldn't have done this. "She won't be back for ages, so you might as well talk to her another time, besides we're done here," she said about to close the door, but I stopped it with my foot, this just angered her.

"Please, it really can't wait," I begged, hoping she'd maybe let me wait inside. "I'm sorry but my answer is no, now please just leave," she said.

"I know about your affair with my father and how my mother came between you, it must have hurt so much to be abandoned like that," I said but this just made her snap.

"Oh really? Well then you may also know how much of a man eater your mother was. Now you look a lot like your mother, which others think is sweet but when I look at you I don't see a son or a child of love, you know what I see," she said as I stuttered;

"W-what do you see?"

"You remind me of her, to the point when I look at you all I see is that whore! A whore who stole the man I loved and made him abandon me when I needed him most!" She yelled, making me almost shake as tears threatened to spill out my eyes.

"When I look at you, I see a whore! You hear me! Now get out! Go!" She added as I ran off out the building and getting into the car, telling Gorilla to go. Trying my best to hold it all together.

I really shouldn't have done this. My father is going to be so pissed if he found out I saw Lilly. I tried so hard to hold it together, but halfway home I felt myself slowly break as I balled my fist, trying to tell myself to keep it in and hold it together.
