A Night To Remember

Just two weeks before the fashion event, Gabriel hosts a dinner party event for his club. Dress code being formal and consisting of black and grey, plus there were white and gold masks for every guest as they entered.

He even decided to invite Lilly Rose Prescott, his ex. Even though she wasn't part of his club, he felt like she would bring some life to the party. Soon the mansion became full of guests, as Gabriel greeted each and every one of them, there was still no sign of Lilly.

'Is she coming?' He thought. Just as he was about to close the doors, a figure entered the gates and approached the mansion. It was Lilly, she came. She was wearing a short black dress which came just above her knees, the dress it's self had a bodice of black lace, with a v-neck showing a little cleavage, alongside with short mesh puff sleeves. The back of the dress was a low cut v like the front, with dress buttons going down. For shoes she wore black court heels with an ankle strap. As for her hair, her dark brown curls were pulled up into a high messy bun, with a few strands out in the front to frame her face.

"LilRose, you came." He exclaimed, as Lilly smiled. "I wouldn't miss a perfect opportunity like this to see you, Gabe." She responded.

"You really gonna call me that," he said playfully, Lilly laughed a little "why am I not? Is this some kind of event where you have to call people by sir or madam?" She said also being playful.

Gabriel chuckled, "no, but I just don't want people getting the wrong idea. That's all, besides shall we?" He said giving her mask which was a swan, as she put it on and took his arm, as they entered the hall.

"Now who are these people?" Lilly asked quietly, "Well over there is the mayor of Paris, with him his wife, one of the most famous fashion critics," Gabriel said and continued telling Lilly who was who under the mask.

After almost two hours of having drinks and appetisers, music begins to play as every guest partnered up and began to dance.

"May I have this dance Miss Prescott?" Gabriel asked holding out his hand.

"Oh you may Mr Agreste," Lilly said accepting his hand as they went to the dance floor, and began to dance looking at the other couples, "I think everyone here has forgotten how to dance," Gabriel said as Lilly nodded in agreement. "It seems so, shall we put on a show and show them how it's done," she said.

"Thought you'd never ask," Gabriel said as they began to take their dance to a whole new level. Soon the music changed and before you know it, they were doing a tango! Everyone watching them, some amazed that Gabriel Agreste knew how to dance the tango.

There was so much emotion in the dance, passion as they danced to the rhythm of the music. Ending with Gabriel dipping Lilly, their faces very close together as everyone clapped.

"I think we've done it again, LilRose," he said as he pulled her up and made their way to the dining room.

An hour later...

More drinks were being served as guests continued to socialise, few leaving. Lilly sat at the grand piano which was in the centre of the room putting her glass of whiskey on the top, as she began to press a few keys mimicking a song.

"Remember this song, Gabe?"

She said pressing the same keys again, as Gabriel smiled slightly remembering the tune.

"How can I forget," he responded and joined Lilly at the piano sitting next to her. Playing the same tune but adding more to it, "let's put on a show." He added, as they began playing together, soon Lily began to sing. Guests gathering round the scene as the song begun.
