“Hey!” Jay’s voice rang through my ears making me jolt up and stand up.
“Hey, sorry about that! Haha!” I chuckled nervously.
“Stop apologizing! You didn’t even do anything wrong!” he said and sighed.
“Is everything okay!?” I asked seeing his eyes which held sadness.
He looked at me and sighed, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions especially when you told me you don’t have a boyfriend! I never gave you a chance to talk, I was just worried that something would happen, I’m really sorry!” he ranted out making my eyes water up.
“No no don’t cry! Please I’m sorry!” he said looking at me.
I chuckled and shook my head, “I’m not crying because of that, no one’s ever apologized so sincerely to me so I was touched! Thank you!” I said and smiled to which he smiled back.
“If you two are done now, can we eat! We’re starving!” Sunoo spoke up peeping from the doorframe.
“You!! Were you here this whole time!!?” Jay asked and the others peeped in to.
“If you mean all of us! Yes! It’s a rare chance to see YOU apologize to someone else!!” Jake said and shrugged.
“Let’s go Yui!” Jungwon said and pulled my hand.
We ran to the hall and sat down laughing.
“I’ll make some ramen and come!” Heeseung said and Jake followed him.
“We’ll put the snacks in the bowl!” Sunoo said and dragged Sunghoon with him.
“Oh we’ll bring some games!!” Ni-Ki said and walked away with Jungwon.
I sat there staring at the wall spacing out, “What did you mean by earlier!?” Jay spoke up breaking the silence.
I tilted my head in confusion, “When you said about never receiving a sincere apology!” he said and I looked at the wall again.
“I meant what I said!” I chuckled.
“I’d never received a sincere apology ever! Especially when I deserved it!” I said and looked at him.
“Apology for what though!? Like in which way!?” he asked and I looked at the wall again.
“I’ll explain everything soon, just not now!” I said and gave him a warm smile to which he nodded.
They boys came back with the games, food and snacks and sat down…
“Oh right! Tomorrow’s our Evaluation day! And day after tomorrow we can go to the carnival!” Jungwon said making the boys groan.
“Oh and Yui! You don’t have to maintain the diet! You need food, and the evaluators already know so you don’t need to come tomorrow! You can just sleep through!” Jungwon added and I just nodded.
“Ugh forget about tomorrow! Let’s have fun now!” Ni-Ki said and we had a long but fun night…
