I walked to my class a sat at my desk to see a chocolate milkshake with a small note.
‘You didn’t have breakfast! At least have this! You’re still not well!’ I read the note.
‘Must be one of the boys!’ I thought and drank the milk happily.
“Yui!” a voice called out and I turned to see Mia coming towards my desk.
“Hi! What’s up?’ I asked feeling nervous.
“These are the notes for the upcoming exams! You weren’t here! So I made a copy for you too! Take care!” she kept the book on my desk, smiled and left.
“Thanks!” I mumbled loud enough for her to hear.
“No problem!” she said and left to go back to her seat.
“Good morning students! You won’t have any classes for this week, you’ll be given time to study and go to the teachers and clear your doubts! All the best!” a teacher said that and left.
I sighed and got up to go to the rooftop where I’d always sit.
I got out of the noisy classroom and went towards the steps to the rooftop but it was blocked by other students, so I took the other staircase which led to the back exit of the rooftop.
As I kept walking I was lost in deep thought,
‘Would Jay really want me to be a part of their group? Could I really let them accept me?’ ‘Will things go alright?’ I kept thinking and walked up the stairs.
I got to the top of the stairs and opened the door to the rooftop.
I walked out and felt cool breeze brush my cheek.
I took a deep breath and sighed smiling slightly, the rooftop always made me happy.
I found it peaceful.
I turned to my left and saw a boy standing on the ledge of the rooftop railing.
“HEY YOU! GET DOWN!” I yelled panicking.
The boy got startled and jumped onto the ground making me sigh.
