The begining

Percy's pov.

I sighed and opened the last box I pulled out the plates and put them down on the table

My mom smiled and patted my back "this is so exciting! a whole new school year!" she said and clapped her hands I grinned and shrugged

"I already have enough excitement in my life but I guess a little more normal kind of excitement is what you meant" I joked and she hit my arm

"Oh haha percy, but this is a whole new school in a whole new area! Paul is working at this school and if you...." she trailed of

I blushed "if I don't destroy it this could be a good year, but when's the last Time that happened?" I sighed
She grabbed the plates and set them in the sink

"Percy" she said and set her hand on her hips

"I trust you" she calmly went back to the dishes

I smirked and leaned next to her "I can do the dishes mom-" she turned to me quickly

"No!" she playfully hugged a plate to her chest
"The last time you 'helped' with the dishes you broke half of them!" she argued

I chuckled "oh come on I need to practice my powers somehow!" I argued

She grabbed a wet sponge and started hitting me with it "oh go jump of a building mister mist man" she laughed and I skipped out of the kitchen

I walked to my room and jumped onto the fire escape ,it wasn't like the old one at home

Mom had got her book published and we had more money so are apartment was a little nicer

And we found a new school when mom had to travel for her publisher work and Paul's teaching career

I sighed an looked out at the city
Business men and women walk around and talked the city was full of life

I just hope that I can avoid monsters or bully's
