Percy's pov.

Peter ran out and I bolted into my closet

I grabbed my golden chest armor and threw on a dark blue tank top I set the armor over it and grabbed my aviator shades I threw on fingerless gloves

I pulled out a blue bandana and tied it around my head

No one would be able to tell who I was so I jumped out on the fire escape and pulled out riptide

I flipped off of the fire escape and mist travel behind a abandoned car where the.... monster was

I saw a flash of red swing around a building

"Hey man you messing up my home!" the guy in a spider suit yelled and swung from a line and straight at the beast

I roared with its massive bear head and snarled at him
"You wouldn't hurt spider man would you?" the guy shot a web at the bear head

It opened it's mouth and green fire blazed out the fire went straight through the web and flew at him

'Greek fire!'

I bolted over to spidey and tackled him I blocked the fire with my shield witch I had opened up from my watch

"Hay!" the guy yelled and I pushed him to the side when another blaze of fire came at us

"Hay smokey! why don't you calm down a bit will you!" I yelled at the beast and it bounded forward

I burst into a smoke of mist and traveled behind him the spider man jumped up and a web and shot one at the monsters right claw

The beast grabbed the web and pulled it
Spider man slammed into the floor and was dragged forward

I sighed and sliced through his web with my sword and jumped onto the beasts massive back

"Stop messing around!" I yelled at spider man and he stumble to his feet
"I'm not messing around, ad stop stealing my thunder!" he yelled back

Pedestrians gathered around but kept there distance they held phones and pointed them at me as I held into the metallic back of the.... thing

I flipped to its side and tried to role me of but I tasted riptide and cut its front legs off

I stabbed it through the head and it gagged

It exploded into gold dust ad I barrel rolled to the floor I stood up an shook my sword and coughed off the dust

Suddenly I heard cheering and saw a group if people smiling and cheering at me

I waved at them and smiled 'keep it cool... don't freak out'

I started backing away when the spider dude swung in front of me

"Hey! that was my kill!" he argued and tried to push me
I stepped to the side and his hands met air

"Well I killed it" I said In a lower voice
"Doesn't matter anymore it's taken care of" I said and pulled up my sword and leaned it on my shoulder I shifted my shield and stared at his mask

"Doesn't matter! ,I take care of this city so others don't have to-"

"Take care? That beast was torching you and I saved you, you don't own this city and I'm just helping" he balled his hands up into fist and I could feel his glare through the mask

"Well they don't need your help" I looked around the street was covered in fire and cars were scattered

"It looks like they do, and you don't get to say what they need, I don't care if your ego is hurt , you can't tell me what to do" I snapped and turned away
