3 - 𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑

I raced back home from work once I got the call, bursted through the front doors and ran up the stairs. Flinging open Stella's bedroom door I noticed Nicole, my little sister sitting on Stella's bed.

"She's not waking up, I've tried everything that I could think of!" Ripping the blankets off of Stella, I turned to Nicole and sent her out of the room.

"Stella, Stella?" I shook her body. No response. I lifted her body up into my arms and carried her downstairs, placing her on the counter.

My brother, Vincent walked in while I was grabbing a cup of water "What the fuck is going on in here?" Grabbing a towel and placing it under her head I looked up,

"Shut the fuck up she's not waking up." I poured the cup of water on her face making her jump up and gasp.

I jumped up from my sleep gasping and frantically looking around. I felt a hand on my back holding me up, just to notice that it was Xavier's. He wiped the water away from my eyes with his hand as I leaned against him.

"What the hell Xavier!?" I looked over to see him grabbing a towel.

"You fucking weren't waking up AND you weren't breathing!" He snapped at me while he wiped the rest of the water off my face with a towel.

"I'm fucking soaked now thanks to you." I pulled at my shirt so it would unstick to me.

"VINCENT" Xavier roared while slamming his fist down on the counter which made me jump.

"Okay okay I'm sorry I was just enjoying the viewww" Vincent winked at me before running out of the kitchen. I scoffed and hopped off the counter just to see a little girl standing in front of me.

"Stella meet Nicole, she's my 10 year old sister" Xavier sighed while throwing the towels to the side. I bent down to her height.

"I'm sorry you had to meet me like this" I laughed. She smiled,

"It's okay Stella, I'm just glad you are okay." She took off in the direction that Vincent also went in.

Xavier was rubbing his forehead, "You can't fucking do that, are you okay?" He started heading towards the stairs so I followed him,

"Yes I promise I'm okay Xavier I just need to shower and change." Xavier headed to his office while I went to the shower. I turned the water to a nice hot temperature, letting the shower steam while I got undressed. Tossing my clothes to the side, I got in letting the hot water hit my back as I washed my hair and body.

After I finished my shower, I wrapped myself up in my towel, brushed my hair out and went to grab a new pair of clean clothes. "Shit" I thought to myself, I forgot to grab clothes. I poked my head out of the bathroom, checked both sides to make sure that no one was in this hallway, and booked it to my room.

Once I shut my bedroom door and locked it, I headed for my closet, grabbing a pair of black leggings and a long grey t-shirt. I threw on a pair of socks. Gosh I need new clothing if I'm going to stay here.

As I headed out of my room, making my way downstairs into a different hallway I searched for Xavier's room. Why is there so many hallways in this house? Once I found Xavier's room I slightly knocked on his door, I got no response.

"Xavier?" I knocked a second time. I turned around to head downstairs myself, but as I turned around Xavier was standing behind me.

"What's wrong?", he stepped closer while towering over me.
