Danielle sat in the barber chair in her brother and Fadi's hair salon and watched Dante cut one of his clients.
The guy was blonde and Dante was giving him some fashionable haircut. She noticed that the guy was glancing at her every now and then, but she ignored him.
Finally, Fadi showed up with takeaway food in two paper bags and said:
— Starbucks latte is also available!
Danielle instantly perked up when Fadi handed her the coffee. She thanked him and felt better as soon as she drank. It had been a long time since she had drunk this drink of the gods, as she called the coffee of this place.
Fadi sat down next to her and pointed to the bag:
— Enjoy it, beauty.
Danielle gave him a sidelong glance and peered inside the bag. There were fries, a hamburger, a cardboard box where there was probably some salad. She took the salad and Fadi frowned:
— This is for Dante!
— What's his is mine. — Danielle picked up a plastic fork, opened the lid, and looked at the salad mix.
— That's the best kind of food for me.
—Sure, as if you really need to lose weight — Fadi rolled his eyes. —Look what a skeleton you are, kid.
—He spoke to the god of youth — Danielle laughed as she ate her salad. —Thanks for the coffee and salad, Grandpa.
Fadi rested his chin on his chin and watched his guy finish cutting a client's hair. The guy finally had the service realized, he would pay and left.
As he went, Dante wiped his hands on his apron and looked at the paper bag.
— Food at last! — He pulled out a hamburger and coffee. — The next client will be in a quarter of an hour, so I have a minute.
— Junk food, but good — Fadi started eating chips. — I love breaks.
— In fifteen minutes you start taking care of your own client — Dante winked at him. — So enjoy your freedom, since you still have it.
—When we get home, you'll be begging me to give you some.— Fadi stared with desire at Dante, who was eating his hamburger quietly. — My bun.
Danielle stopped eating because she immediately saw the scene of Fadi fucking her brother in the ass. She took the coffee and began to drink.
—Dan, don't worry about his behavior — Fadi began. —George ... has his moods, it's normal if you live with him. One day is great, tomorrow he can screw it up. He's like a ticking bomb, but he's not a bad person. He's got ... problems, just like that.
— And who doesn't have them — Dante muttered. — Although we don't have them yet, Fad.
—We can have this at home later — Fadi looked at him intensely in the eye. —Well, Dani. Let him have these moods, then he will come to you on his lap. He, unfortunately, is the type who gets addicted to the other person. You are his weakness.
—He's not been home for two days — Danielle lowered her head. — He sent me a picture ... — She bit her lip. — Like sitting on some yacht in a deck chair drinking champagne. In one hand, I noticed he had a joint. How should I proceed? Be as mean as he is?
—The fact that he disappeared after an argument is his constant ritual — Fadi waved his hand. —He should be back today. Probably our friend Don Ford's yacht. George likes to go there when he thinks the world and people are against him. Don't care, Dani. He has to show that he is the victim and you are to blame, not him.
