They arrived at the party and Tommy led Amber inside. He wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked past all the boys leering at her.

“Why are they looking at me? I’m not pretty at all.” Amber whispered to Tommy.

“You have a pound less makeup than anyone here. And you are stunning.” Tommy told her. She hit his shoulder lightly.

“Hey Amber.” Cooed an all too familiar voice.

“Nick.” Amber acknowledged. Nick’s eyes moved over her body and Tommy cleared his throat. Nick glared at him but Tommy held his ground.

“Tommy Merlyn.” Nick sneered. “Hanging around with her? Well, well. This is interesting. I never thought that slutty was your type.” Tommy’s arm tightened on Amber’s waist as she made a move to attack Nick. The confrontation was interrupted by someone tapping a fork against a glass. Tommy led Amber away from Nick and out of the room.

“Is he the one?” Tommy burst out.

“One what?” Amber asked, confused.

“The one who beat you up earlier today.”

“He didn’t beat me up. I beat him up.” Amber snapped.

“I’m going to kill him.” Tommy snarled pacing back and forth.

“Tommy. Tommy. What’s wrong? Why are you acting like this? Tommy stop.” Amber ordered grabbing his arm and spinning him to face her.

“He touched you. He hurt you. H-he insulted you.” Tommy ranted stuttering in anger.

“Oh, Tommy.” Amber sighed giving him a hug, which he returned. Sirens sounded outside.

“Lets go check it out.” Amber said pulling Tommy behind her. Police were swarming the building. Detective Lance walked up to us.

“Excuse me, but do you know where Oliver is.” He asked.

“I’m right here.” Oliver said walking up.

“Is something wrong Detective?” Tommy asked.

“Yes. The vigilantly just hit the building across from your party. Did you see anything?” Lance said. Oliver opened his mouth to say something but Amber saw something in his eyes and decided to answer.

“No sir. And Ollie’s alibi checks out too. He was with me.” Amber lied standing up straighter. Detective Lance glared at Oliver and walked off.

“Amber why did you say that?” Tommy cried throwing his hands up.

“Because Ollie needed and alibi. And I thought that it would make the Detective go away faster. I was right. So, don’t you dare get mad at me Merlyn.” Amber snapped pointing an accusing finger at him. Oliver smiled trying to control his laughter. “Hey Tommy go get a drink and get me some water I need to talk to Oliver.” Tommy nodded angrily and walked off.

“Thanks for lying for me.” Oliver said.

“Don’t speak until I have finished. I know that you’re the vigilante. Don’t deny it. I can tell if your lying and I saw the look in your eyes. You’re the vigilante and I will keep your secret. But… if Tommy gets mad at me for not telling him I’ll tell him that you threatened me. Deal?” Amber said and held out her hand to shake. Oliver took it and smiled.

“I think that you and I will be working together a lot. Whether, I want help or not.” Oliver observed. Amber nodded.

“See you tomorrow at my graduation.” Amber said before walking off in the direction of Tommy. She found him flirting with a girl. Amber sighed and walked away. She stepped outside and took out her phone to call a cab.

“Fancy seeing you here Amber.” Said a masculine voice. Amber looked up and saw Mr. Merlyn walking towards her.

“Hi Mr. Merlyn.” Amber greeted. “Are you here to pick up Tommy? Because I’m afraid that he is preoccupied.”

“No. I was just checking up on the company that the vigilante hit.” He got within arms reach of Amber and looked down at her phone, which was still displaying the taxi’s number.

“Come, I will take you home.”

“I’m fine sir but thank you.”

“I insist.” Mr. Merlyn said in a dangerous voice.

“Okay. Thank you for being so kind to me.” Amber said putting away her phone and following him to the limo.

The ride home was uneventful and quiet.

“You can drop me at my house today.” Amber said when they got closer to her house. “Thank you Mr. Merlyn.” And with that she walked into her empty house. She turned on the lights and took a shower before going to bed.

The sun woke her up and she checked the clock. Amber let out a shriek and fell out of bed with an ‘ooomph’. She hurried to her bathroom and got ready for her graduation. She threw on some jeans and a T-shirt that said ‘You only live once… unless you’re a Winchester’. She hurried outside running a comb through her hair. And stopped when she saw a car with a bow on it waiting outside along with Tommy and Oliver.

“Oh my gosh!” Amber squealed running over to the car. “Thank you guys. You shouldn’t have.” She gave them both hugs.

“Okay. Lets go to your graduation.” Tommy said rubbing his hands together. Amber laughed and pulled her hair into a ponytail before getting into the car. Tommy handed her the keys and they were off. Amber parked the car and told the guys that she had to go get her robes and stuff and that she had reserved two seats for them.

“Hey, Amber. Sweet ride.” Cried a voice from behind her.

“Thanks Niles.” Amber snapped before heading inside. Niles followed her.

“Sooo, there’s going to be a party tonight for graduation and I was wondering if you would want to be my date.” Niles asked putting an arm around Amber’s shoulder. Amber pushed his arm off of her shoulder.

“I already have plans for the night that don’t involve jerks like you.” And with that she walked off. Graduation finally ended and Tommy, Amber, and Oliver got back into the car.

“Who wants to go to McDonalds?” Amber asked pulling out of the parking lot.

“Ooh ooh. Me, me, me.” Squealed Tommy, imitating a little girl and bouncing up and down with his hand in the air. Amber laughed and Oliver smiled.

“What about you Ollie?”

“Sure.” He shrugged. They got McDonalds and Oliver spoke up.

“Since you are now open for hire how would you like to work for Queen Consolidated and my errand runner?” Ollie asked.

“Sounds great!” Enthused Amber taking a long sip from her chocolate milkshake.

“Okay then. I’ll meet you outside of my house tomorrow morning.” Ollie said. Amber nodded and pulled into the driveway of Ollie’s mansion.

“See you tomorrow.”
