Stroking his scarred eye, Dad spoke again.
"Betrayal, that pain that feels like it'll eat you from the inside out, you can either break you or forget you into something greater."
"You need to let Powder die."
Letting out a barely audible gasp, I looked over at J again and saw that she looked sad and confused.
"So the fear of pain will no longer control you."
Above, thunder roared loudly and Dad offered a hand to Jinx. J looked uncertain as she turned to me to which I nodded supportively.
○NARRATOR●
The water gently rippled as the blue haired girl cut through the water to the man she thought of as her father. But not before grabbing her girlfriends hand for support.
"Your strong now. You both are, just like you were always meant to be. Jinx is perfect. Shimmer is perfect." Jinx grabbed Silcos hand and stared into his eyes, gripping Shimmers hand tightly.
Silco brought Jinx closer to him and placed a hand on the back of her head and soon enough Shimmer had placed her hands on her head and hand to help lower the body into the water.
Jinx took a deep breath before her body was completely submerged in the rivers toxins. After a minute, both of them lifted Jinx out of the water and gave her a loving hug.
"I love you Shimmer, thank you Silco for rescuing me," she whispered into the hug and closed her eyes.
They pulled away and walked back to Silcos base like a family. A weird, crazy family.
