Chapter 31

I ran after her and saw her collapse onto the floor in a abandoned alley. She covered her dirty tear stained face with her grubby nails as she leaned against the gratified walls.

Without a word, I sat down next to her and pulled her onto my lap. J moved her legs to wrap around my waist and her face buried into my collar.

I let Jinx cry into my shoulder and I gripped her tight. Eventually, she calmed herself, and pulled away from my neck and I reached into my pocket and pulled out a some what dirty handkerchief.

I hadn't used it, no. It was stained from all the soot and smoke that collected on it during our crimes. For example, when J blew up the airship the other day. Stained.

"Are you OK?" I asked quietly and J gently nodded. I gently kissed her on the lips and stared at her. But just as I was about to sit up, J pulled me back into a kiss but this one was much longer and more passionate.

When we pulled away for the much needed oxygen, J told me something.

"I have something I want to show you puppy!"

"Puppy really?" I laughed and J just smirked.

"What would you rather me call you? oooo I have a long list! Sugar tits, honey, my baby girl, baby, darling, angel, princess-" I interrupted her before we ended up being here all night.

"Ok I am fine with all of those Angel~" I flirted and it was her time to blush at the name. Payback for all the times she name me  blush over a name she called me.

My angel laughed, "Well let's go then!" She pulled me up and dragged my through the maze of streets.

J dragged me through the dirty streets untill we stopped abruptly infrount of a building with a big smashed window. The window was made of staind glass which projected colourful light onto the dusty, glass ridden floor. 

I stepped inside and JJ follower after me, being careful to avoid the glass. Inside the right, was a shooting range, with a giant mermaid statue made of coloured wood and some wooden targets that had fallen to the ground.

To the left, was a raised platform, lined with a rusty metal fence. Ontop of the platform, was a boxing machine. And above that, was a screen that showed the top scores.

Almost all exept the last two, belonged to 'Vi.' The last two belonged to 'Claggor'. I'm gonna guess that this is where Jinx and her old family would chill and relax.

Walking further into the room, I heard a small clang from behind me, and when I saw that Jinx was crouched down.

○Jinxs Pov●

I looked down and saw the peice of the boxing machine on the wooden floor. It was the chest peice that had Milos face on both sides, one side showing him awake, and the other showing him knocked out.

Grunting, I picked it up and held it in my hand. I dusted it off and all the memories flashed through my eyes.

"Oh what's the matter Milo? You worried Powders gonna beat you again?"

The memories stopped and silence over took the room again. I looked around untill I saw baby looking at me with a worried expression.

"You OK?" She asked and I was about to reply before I was interrupted by the chirp of a bird. Rapidly turning around and pulling up my gun, I saw that a black crow resting on the targets. It cawed again and turned its head to head side curiously.

Turning my head to the side aswell, I stared into the crows dark eyes and chuckled under my breath, and pressed the trigger.

I watched as my little angel stared at the crow and turned her head to the side as she aimed at it. Then a bang rang around the room as the trigger was pulled. There wasn't another sound from the crow other than a thump when it fell off the target dead. A cloud of black feathers floating down.

J turned around to me and blew away the smoke emerging from the guns barrel. She spun the gun around like she always did and I realised she still had the metal plate in her hand.
